Recently ive read about parking issues / parking tickets etc Sorry if this has been raised and or discussed before but what about the train stopping at Landore on natch days? Even if it was 1 train on way up from West Wales and one from East and similarly on way back? Still p's me off on natch day travelling on train from Llanelli and either passing Landore or being on stop and bang there's the ground up and over the foorbridge etc? |  | | |  |

If they spent the millions required to restore Landore station, the next complaint would be that the queues to get into the station and onto the platform would be longer than the 25 min walk to the Swansea station. | | | |

The majority of the crowd are fit and healthy people who can walk that distance, it's not even a mile and a half. This is a majority thing, pointless putting a station in if only 100 people a game use it.

If the same knob head planner ever gets involved in this, the one who did the bus lanes on the Kingsway we will have Fcking trains stopping on top of the WestStand in both directions.
It's not as if there has never been a stop at Landore, hardly a new idea !

The transport links to and from the liberty are something from the third world. Shocking. |
F*ck me, the Vetch was 't exactly next to the station and parking was even more scarce. As it is the station is a fifteen minute walk and parking is plentiful for anyone willing to spend a fiver. It's not ideal but we have it a lot better than many other clubs. |  |

Thr only issue they should address is for travel from west of the City centre. A huge number of cars/buses on small shitty roads could be taken away by a dedicated train service running from further than Llanelli, stop at Gowerton and put a platform in Fforestfach and obviously Landore. They'd rather spunk the money on altering roads though |  |

What are you talking about ? How do you get all those people on the limited bus service....and I doubt even a fit person wants to walk to the station in the middle of December when it's pi$$ing down. |  |

Build a multi story car park to road level behind the North with access before the railway bridge and egress on current slip road.
Station link on roof of var park with high level entry to the ground or escalator stairs to ground level.

I also think there should be a Bus park and ride to the Liberty from Pontardawe to serve the Swansea and Amman Valleys.
The direct bus from Pontardawe runs straight to the Quadrant and the others stop about 50 times on the journey to the Liberty.
People like to have a beer this woild also cut traffic coming down the valley on match days |  | | |
