Does anyone know how long his contract is? I just went back and saw we signed him on a free transfer, but it didn't state how long it was for?
Going off his Instagram page, he does seem to have a real affinity for the club, but this is also his livelihood so hoping we're able to get him signed to a half decent deal.
Obviously non QPR. Currently in Japan for a snowboarding trip, 12 days up in Niseko and then 3 nights in Tokyo, haven't ever been here before and haven't yet booked Tokyo.
Anyone on here, been or live in Tokyo and could pass on any helpful advice for newbies traveling there for the first time. There are 4 of us, and we wouldn't mind staying where there is a bit of nightlife as we're not doing much partying up here!!
So the window has now closed, we've brought in two midfielders, both premiership quality, giving us(on paper) one of the strongest midfields in the bottom half of the league.
The talk will be of Welbeck and Falcao but let's have a think of who our rivals for relegation have brought in this window.
Palace Doyle and Zaha Hull have got a few decent players in Leicester? Burnley? Sunderland? West Ham? West Brom?
Now I've put question marks as I don't know who they've brought in(hard living over in Australia) if anyone can fill in or add other teams we should be able to get an idea of where we all sit.
Clearly not much going on in the transfer market so thought i'd see if anyone had any tips or advice for a potential ski trip to either Japan or South Korea this January. Flying up from Perth, have been told both destinations are fantastic for snowboarding/skiing but just thought i'd see if anyone on here have any advice.
Looking for some advice as to where to stay, how to get to the ski fields, prices etc.
Just on the Amtrak train bound for New York where I will celebrating my birthday in style. Just wondering if any of you had any tips or places worth drinking at today? I'm with 6 mates so something with a bit of eye candy would certainly go down well!
Just finished listening to their new album for the 3rd or 4th time tonight and have to say I'm BLOWN away by the quality of their new stuff.
This band has constantly evolved and adapted and tried new ways of making music and this album has a totally different sound to their previous ventures on both Humbug and Suck it and See. This album feels like its mixed early 1990s G Funk rap beats(think Warren G) with some massive guitar rifts from a 70s rock band, it's a fantastic sound.
No doubt so will slag them off, but I still think they are one of, if not the, most exciting bands to come out from England in the last 10 years...possibly longer.
If you haven't got a copy of this album, do yourself a favour and have a listen, you won't be disappointed.
Just announced joint US/Israel missile test off the coast of Syria. No doubt this will ratchet up tension in the Middle East, maybe a show of force on Israels part to warn the Assad regime that it won't hesitate to strike at targets inside Syria, even without American assistance if the Syrians decide to attack Israeli cities.
Rumour on the QPR Facebook site, saying that Redknapp was at a charity event last night and told one of the guys that Barton is going to sign for West Ham.
The guy who has put up the post, has also got a photo of him and Redknapp last night so could be legit.
Didn't think Id be saying this, but will be gutted if he leaves.
Not sure if this has already been covered, and apologies if it has, but just saw the video of the training session on the official website and low and behold up pops our Joey about 1 min 03 seconds in.
Seems the Labor party has once again descended into civil war. Rudd will win, change the date of the election and take the Labor towards a losing election in August.
Had an interesting debate at work today regarding the use of lethal force by members of the armed forces on the mainland and not in a theatre of war.
I argued that soldiers in the base would have been justified in using appropriate force(lethal if necessary) in order to protect a fellow soldier or a member of the public from a life threatening situation, but another ex pat, reliably informed me that this would contravene the armies rules of engagement. I think he is wrong that that the use of appropriate force would be justified and thus exempt the soldiers from prosecution.
Are there any lawyers or criminal law experts on here? Do soldiers and other members of the armed forces have the legal authority to kill a British citizen in Britain or is it meant to be left to the armed response units to deal with any potential threat?
LOTR- always asking the more challenging questions...in the hope that someone else will know and thus enable him to win this argument at work tomorrow.
Heading to Boston for two nights in late December(26th-28th) and know a few of us on here have been there before.
This will be my 3rd trip to Boston but always stayed with a friend, so no need to ever book a hotel, this time there is 6 of us, so wanted a recommendation on anywhere worth staying. BrooklynR gave me a cracking tip for BK so hoping someone can give us a tip for Boston.
Planning a trip to NYC in late December and just wanted some advice on where to stay if we were planning on heading out to BK for New Years.
I've had a look at one place on Franklin Ave and also one place on Box Street, both look good, fairly easy to get back over to Manhattan and also not far from Williamsburg.
