Here you go mushinexile, the rules allow for a maximum of three outfield players + the GK to be over the age of 21 so RS can legitimately get a game at that level. The guidance notes say:
The rules allow for up to three overage outfield players as well as the goalkeeper to be over the age of 21. Usually these players are struggling players whom the manager wants to get playing time or they are players coming back from injury and the manager wants to know if they are game ready. | |

No, not at all. If RS has any chance to ever get back into the game, he clearly needs a slower build up period than most injured players and thus there is no point bringing him to a dead season, when he could be building up alot slower. Makes perfect sense to me, assuming he will ever be able to play again which we cannot know for sure. | | | |
