Another massive kick to the goolies....and all our own fault. We had played really well against a very good team, and were well worthy of a point, but our defensive decisions are staggering.

I know, let’s spend even more on administration.

Time to deliver some footballers.

It's January 26th. What has to be done now? New blood? On the pitch? Off it?

Absolute shambles from Bazunu and Osho. What is the keeper doing coming 25 yards out to clear a ball when a defender is there to do the job in the 93rd minute.

Agreed, impressed with Osho but that's his ball to clear - as soon as he started to let it go past him and Bazunu came so far out I was worried. Schoolboy errors every game. Just so avoidable.

Laugh or cry, I'm really not sure but enough is enough.

Every game it's one shambles after another. No matter how good our forward play is we won't win games with that defence

I think we may need a mentality coach, maybe a defence advisor and at the very least a first team manager consultant.... there's something very very wrong

That was an utterly pathetic way to lose a game of football.
Bazunu can hang his head in shame, that was dreadful.

gutted

Lets see what the new goalkeeping coach makes of us today. Kicking not great and the rest we can see. He has to learn.

What an earth was Bazunu doing !??!??

No need for him to come out in the first place!!!!

Am absolutely done with this fcuking crap week in week out.
Basic fcuking Errors every fcuking week.

Not 1 more penny going into this club, an embarrassment of a club, manager and players who make the same mistakes week in week out.

No wonder crowds ( last season) season tickets are dawdling not paying tenner every week.

Some simple defending wouldn't go a miss and stop pissing about and passing the ball backwards

Fook off Chalky.

If only we were awarded points for entertainment, we'd be right up there.

We are not.

Nor are we awarded points for possession, or pass completion, or anything arty like that.

We should get points for scoring at one end whilst keeping them out at the other.

We are unable to do so, and have been for a while.

Absolutely embarrassing way to lose that. Every goal they scored seemed to be a gift and that last one was the culmination. You never expect us to grind out a result. Even when we went ahead I thought the most we can do here is pray for a point. The only saving grace here is the teams on the bottom 4 also lost. Those teams may in the long run turn out to be even worse than us but playing like this week in week out we could have absolutely no arguments about getting relegated.

Match Thread: Rochdale vs Oxford on 21:06 - Jan 26 with 1769 viewsboromat

Absolutely gifted it to them in the end and it felt like we were the team looking most likely despite only making the one change compared to their introduction of 4 players.

Fair play to our lads for energy levels and effort. We went toe to toe with one of the in form teams in the league and were at least as good as them.

Absolutely gutting. It's not easy being a Dale fan at the moment but it's entertaining. What I wouldn't give for a boring one nil win!

We need first team players back fit and a couple of reinforcements.

Poll: What are we more excited for?

Why can we just 'put it in row Z'? Why do we have to try and play out when under pressure when we don't have the players who can?

Olly dispossessed, Loond couldn't get on the end of the cross, Morley's attempted chip fell short ........ could've been so different. But it wasn't and too often isn't.

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

It seems to be the exact same issues every week.

Faffing around at the back.
Individual errors.
A complete inability to defend set pieces and crosses in general.
It's even the same players making errors most of the time!

Surely something has to change? I'm not sure what we can afford, but if nothing changes then we're certs to go down.
