Can someone explain to me why they have to present about 20 different programs? What is so good about them? I'm genuinely intrigued. |
| Forum Thread | Obsession with 16 year olds having the vote at 16:59 3 Jun 2016
I'm bored senseless of hearing this mentioned, as usual completely by accident of course a 17 yr old lad on QT was moaning he couldn't have a say. Diddums, if 16 yr olds can vote surely we should lower the age of alcohol for instance to 16 why is that 18? I don't know about you guys but politics was hardly at the front of my mind at 16 and I'm sure that speaks for most people - I would argue 21 would be more appropriate to vote if anything. Because you have a few shouty geeks doesn't mean it should be lowered. What happens if the general election falls when they're 15 and they have a right to vote at 16? Is that outrageous to, they may not vote in a general election till they're 20 in this scenario. It's an inevitable thing now and I just ask, why? Beyond narrow party advantage. |

Can someone explain something to me because it has puzzled me for a long time. Net Immigration last year 330k Within that Net increase from EU 180k From outside the EU 188K Why do we in perpetuum bang on about EU migration, where this IS an economic benefit to the Country as the immigrants tend to be younger, in work and more mobile. Non EU migration we have issues in terms of assimilation, language problems, huge families in which the women tend not to work, much higher levels of unemployment. The UKIP types are always banging on about immigrants and it doesn't take a genius to know what they mean *nudge nudge, wink wink* why all this obsessing about a EU migrants. BTW Net Immigration is too high, unless we spend sh1t loads of infrastructure and demolish our green belt something has to give. |
| Forum Thread | Why is everyone so sensitive these days? at 16:30 24 May 2016
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-36371081 When Clegg and Cameron were getting slaughtered for something very similar, was that homophobic? I mean really, to me it's a sign of how weak minded and precious we're becoming as a society that he has to apologise for this. Modern feminists seem to want it all, equality but special treatment as well. Just say shut up you tw@ if it offends you and move on. Faux outrage does my head in. |

If you haven't watch the sunday politics on iplayer Carwyn is interviewed and then Leanne. It's hilarious in another amateurish interview from the BBC Wales journalist Carwyn basically reveals that this so called 'deal' with plaid is no deal at all. He's done plaid like a kipper to get elected, simple strategy. Say plaid have done a deal with the tories and ukip. Plaid panic have a chat with labour and pretend they've got a deal. There's literally no document, zero, just an understanding on some areas which Carwyn has already started to slag off. I've got to hand it to labour on this one absolutely destroyed plaid, thanks for your support now jog on. [Post edited 22 May 2016 15:13]
