Although you are right in that he didn't get in the Liverpool box and be a threat to their goal.
The reality was in the first half Liverpool pretty much dominated and we were forced back into the our final third.

It's typical really that we are looking to sell a player we paid 16/18m for likely around 10m.

He's hardly played but when he has he's looked impressive and lifted the home fans and I'm convinced the goals would come if he could get a run of games instead of desperate last 15 min performances where we're looking for miracles.

Whilst we persevere we Armstrong who for all his effort looks way short at this level.

Classic SR .

It’s gone from Ings to Stewart, Mara and Onuachu.
That’s the level we’ve bought.

Championship at best.

The level has dropped so much that Onuachu is now applauded for doing the same things as he did two years ago when he was vilified by the fans.

Its the managerial level that's dropped.
What players have improved while playing for us?

The manager and players did their job last season in getting us promoted.
This season they are not doing their jobs.

Apart from Ramsdale we have bought Championship standard players this season.
Throw in a manager who is way out of his depth and here we are 5 points from a possible 45.

Calling for Onuachu to play shows how far off PL quality we really are.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

I really don’t get this downer on Onuachu, he’s never had a run in the team, mostly it’s been a few minutes in the second half and then he isn’t given the ball in the box.I’m not saying he is the answer but to keep deriding him won’t help us or him.

You may well be right , but I don't feel Onuachu has been given the opportunity that was affored Prem duds like Mara and Armstrong.
This season Armstrong has had 770 mins of game time and Tall Paul 111....basically 1 game.

Give him a run of matches, if he's done nothing after 6 games fair enough bin him off but what have we got to lose.

This is a repeat of our previous relegation season where Selles didn't play him all the while "trusting the process" as we lost game after game.

You’re right.
Might as well give him a run out.
Can’t be any worse than what we’ve got.

Again, it just shows what level of player we have.

Play Onuachu in the box with Archer or Armstrong alongside him,put balls up to them at every opportunity and see if it works.
Will that happen of course it wont, not with this manager.

Better still, sell the lot of them and send Ugochukwu back in January, get Marc Guiu on loan and buy Ayoub El Kaabi.
