Great result for the Village of Charnock Richard…..beating a club that claims to be a former winner. Who could that be I wonder.

I see that our own Simon Grand is in their first team squad - and our ex keeper Danny Taberner is Bury's goalkeeper. Both teams are in the same league so the result isn't a shock. Unless you are a bury fan of course

Despite the hype our neighbours aren’t having it all their own way.
Lost at home to Chadderton last week.
Didn’t want to mention it then for fear of being branded obsessed.

if you get chance look at Chaddertons third goal from the half way line

Don't see many like that when it goes past the keeper rather than over him?

Plenty of arguments off the pitch still as well. There’s a real lesson to be learnt about sticking together as a fanbase in times of trouble. Ensuring there are clear contingencies in place that people are aware of, so that any such problems are minimised if something occurs at the club the supporters group are linked to.

It all started to go wrong when Forever Bury weren’t competent, consistent or strong enough to ensure they explored all doubts with those in charge at Gigg Lane, then reported back in public to their supporters. The same issues about transparency and uncertainty never went away.

Infamously, repetitively and extremely relevantly, they know.

Have they moved on from sucking up to the Tory party yet?

What an awful little club they are.

But what would have been the point of mentioning it?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Being the best supported and most famous club in the world and all that, (yes, irony) they'll no doubt be concentrating on the league. Are the various factions still bitching at each other?

It's our messageboard, last time I looked. We can say and do what we like. Not even sure why you're even here, to be honest.

And when you say "You were taking the piss", it was ONE person who mentioned it, not a collective.

Is it like "Sweeden"?

Who mentioned crowds. But now you mention it.....you did have good turnouts when Day took over as you creamed yoursen over the expected success. To be honest I was only interested in how our ex players were. I thought Taberner would have been more successful than playing for bury. Bye for now....gone fishing

Most pathetic reply ever. We know buckets 2.0 are in the nowhere league, and why.

And whilst buckets 2.0 masquerade as a previous entity, have buckets 1.0 paid their £12 million debts off yet? Numbers that are far more serious to so many debtors than "attendances".

All the best to you and your club. When I was a child, I lived in Heywood. My dad used to take me to Gigg Lane on Ribchester's coach. I remember the music for "Sports Report" coming on the radio when we got on the coach after the game. This was from the 1940's onwards I have always had an allegiance to the Shakers. I recall Dave Russell as manager, Quigley, Pearson, the Griffiths brothers Stuart Imlach (the father of the cyclist reporter) , Ray Pointer, John McGrath, Colin Bell, Alec Lindsay. I will probably remember many others tomorrow!!!

After I "fell out" with football, I came to live in Rochdale and, through my brother, developed an interest in the Dale. I was a season ticket holder for many years - until the last few years, when it became a burden watching them. Also, two contributors to the fans' board were unjustifiably very unkind to me a couple of years ago. Now I just come to the occasional game.

Perhaps the Shakers and the Dale will one day play each other in a league game, but I fear it will be too late for me! I intend to go to Gigg occasionally for old times' sake. Good luck to you and your club.
