Great to see this upload from TVOS1907

How many times did we wear the red away kit that season? I’m under the impression it was only once or twice?

It's a great channel, brings back some memories. And TVOS also seems to coincide uploads of games to Topics/Matches that have been discussed on here.

Another channel worth a watch -

Lots of videos of Goals extra/Granda soccer night from circa 1990 onwards...just fast forward Elton Welsby and the Tranmere love in!

The red kit was officially meant to be the third strip with yellow and black retained as away with a new blue home shirt.

However we wore red much more often. From memory it was used at Shrewsbury, Torquay, Chesterfield, Colchester, Bolton in the cup, Bury twice and, strangely, at Barnet I think. Could be wrong on the last one.

At Darlington in the 4-4 as well I think.

Edit: 4-0. 4-4 was Colchester, probably.

Cheers Quigley.

I upload the videos when I'm writing pages for TVOS played 5/10/20/30/40/50 years ago. I'm onto the 30 years ago at the moment, hence there will be some new uploads for the 1992/93 season over the next few weeks.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Crikey! Far more ‘well worn’ than the memory allows… Possibly I’m confusing another kit (away/3rd) that was only worn once-twice in a season.
