Anyone?

At the moment I'm entered in a couple of triathlons.

How is your steps / weightloss thingy going Phil ?

Far less obsessed with steps this days - still probably average 100k plus per week but nowhere near where I was last year. Running over 100 miles a month at the moment which is keeping the weight steady

The food I consume isn't good though and needs to change - weight has levelled off nicely although probably would like to lose half a stone to a stone if I could but not concerned if I don't.

Something like that I should be aiming for.
Have lost weight and got fit impressively.
Now I am eating more and not really exercising which at my age is not healthy at all

The winter months are always the hardest - cold wet mornings and dark wet cold evenings make anything outdoors hard work

Ran on Friday from the house to Remos on Aberavon seafront and then yesterday from Taibach to Sainsbury's in Swansea - feels so much better in the spring!

Thats the biggest change for me is having motivation to do that kind of thing - if I stopped running think I would just return to walking, used to love that 2/3 times a day

Intending to get two dogs soon to replace my little girl I lost 18 months ago.
Haven't had the same impetus to get out since.
That, and spring days, will give me the kick start I need

Keep up my attendance up for week day training rides and Sunday club rides throughout summer. Maybe do a few cyclo sportives and ride Buckingham Palace to Swansea with club.

Maintain 100 miles a week.

Have just done mumbles duathlon but have no running goals baring the Swansea bay 10k

Yeah, we've gone from about 1hr 18 mins on a.20 mile course to 1hr 8 30 sec. That's under 3min 30 on average over 20 miles. And then big rides on the weekend, longer but less of a pace doing 50 up to Cray reservoir on Saturday.

I think an increase of intensity has helped, diet hasn't massively changed.
