I know hes rubbish but surely he should be on recall as soon as Surridge was packing his suitcase |

Swansea were a prem team last year so we knew it would be a hard game. Bollox, Potter has rebuilt the team from the ground up and we have very little, if any remnants of the fibal premier league seasons influence on the way we are currently playing |

Played second striker ' in the hole '. Thought he looked very good. |
| Forum Thread | Connor Roberts conversion to winger ? at 20:37 30 Sep 2018
Used a few times now as a true right winger rather than a wing back, his aggressive running really pins the opposition back. Won't see many step overs but his athleticism alone drags plays away to free up room for the more skillfull. |

Slipped under the radar a bit in the Preston match analysis. I thought he moved the ball well and with urgency. Having a left footer helps balance the midfield and set off attacks for the left fullback & left midfielder with the natural shape of the pass. Gets a lot of stick but will be more than decent in this division |

Quite good, isn't he ? |

"We want our club back " "Greedy b**stards, get out of our club " Surely getting the club back to where it was would involve the sell outs remaining as they are what made it ? I am still not sure where to direct my anger at the minute. Players - not putting in the effort ....... but Clement picks the players ..... but still only has what is given to him.... by Huw Jenkins .......who is only here because the Americans no nothing about football...... who are here because the previous shareholders sold out. |

Confirmed to be leaving shalke on a free transfer. 33 now but has never been a pacy player and certainly knows where the goal is. Worth a go if/when llorente ( or baston) leave ? |
| Forum Thread | Relegated teams best players at 07:40 15 May 2017
I don't think being relegated necessarily means you're bad player, e.g Idrissa Gueye has done very well for Everton. Any of these worth an attempt ? Sunderland : Defoe Pickford Middlesboro : Gibson Traore Ramirez Hull : Huddlestone Mason El mohammady |

Where's he then ? McBurnie on the bench yesterday. Pundit for an Eibar game recently said they're desperately trying to replace his goals |
| Forum Thread | Sigurdsson left wing at 15:21 1 Oct 2016
Spurs tried him out wide , didn't work. We put him back in the middle and he's a superstar, now finds himself on the wing again to accommodate Leroy fer. 4-3-3 doesn't suit us at all. Back to 4-2-3-1 please |
| Forum Thread | "Last man" rule change at 20:12 11 Sep 2016
Wasn't there a rule change that abolished the instant red card of a last man ? Cahill fouled barrow near the half way line to stop a counter attack, he was the last man, but did not deny an obvious goal scoring opportunity. Everybody around me was shouting for a red card ?? |
| Forum Thread | James Chester at 09:54 21 Jun 2016
When we were first linked i thought meh....only if on the cheap. When we were linked at 8 million I thought, no way. However, having watched him in the euros so far, with some impressive defending and last gasps blocks I believe he wouldn't be a bad addition at all, at around 5-6 mill. Offload Fernandez, keep Williams, Amat, Chester ? all 4 if Guidolin wants to have a go at 5-3-2 ? |

Quite enjoy listening to him speak as a pundit, he offers a proper tactical insight that puts the likes of Lee Dixon into the shadows. |
| Forum Thread | Team for sat , Paloschi earned a start ? at 10:48 4 Feb 2016
I think his 45 minutes has earned him a place, but at what sacrifice ? If Ki is still dazed, we could drop the diamond in favour of some width, but in doing so we revert back to Ayew on the wing, which has proven unbalanced. Fabianski Rangel Fernandez Williams Taylor Leon Cork Ayew Siggurdsson Routledge Paloschi We then have the option of 'like for like'changes ie, Montero & Barrow or prehaps Fer can come on and revert back to a diamond shape. |
| Forum Thread | Craig Bellamy's striker analysis at 16:16 8 Dec 2015
Reading his thought on choosing playing style - Either go with a fast threatening striker who will run in behind, but sacrifice any decent hold up play for a high pressing striker OR Have a big strong striker to hold the ball up and let other run in behind him. Obviously the second option had been our style with Jason Scotland and Bony, where as id say the first was more appropriate with Borini,Graham and Michu. Gomis cannot hold up the ball, and is neither quick or instinctive enough to get in behind. Surely it's time to try Ayew up front ? Would off more intensity, pace and over all threat on goal. |
