Just watched a recording of the full game and Drysdale had a shocker, he was more or less ridiculed by the commentators for the amount of bad decisions he came up with.
No way should Henderson have been sent off for the two cards and I think any bURY fan watching the replays would probably agree with that.
By the way I was quite impressed with bURY tonight, a far better side than the one we saw at Spotland earlier in the season. Very good point tonight. |  | | |

What I don't understand with the refs performance is, how in the first half Cav was kicked in our penalty box (off the ball)... The ref called a free kick no booking.... You see players get sent off for that alone. Common sense would say that is a yellow as it wasn't anything that was really going to hurt Cav just some petulance really. To then have hendo sent off for something and nothing is just pathetic refereeing really. |  | | |

Having just watched the highlights, it seems as if he spends the game "balancing" his previous wrong decision, with his next decision. For example, there was doubt in his mind about Henderson's dive. He did not give a penalty, he did not penalise simulation, but probably thought he had dived. Soon after, same man "hand balls". (No way was that deliberate, he was trying score} Out comes the card to "balance the books". And so it continued. Rubbish refereeing. Lower grade ref's are told to referee what is in front of them, not what happened earlier. | | | |

You wonder how long it will be before Sky are having a "quiet word" with the FA / FL about referee selection for televised games, Its in no ones interest to have incompetent referees on TV and get the game spoiled as a result. Disagree about Bury! We had ten men and still they were clueless and simply hoofing it upfront, they had possession because we let them, no choice with 10 men at times. |  |
