Don't get carried away 00:25 - Feb 15 with 11227 viewsLazyFan

Derby were proper gash.
We played poorly in the first half, yet Derby was so bad we could get a 2-0 lead without even really trying.
They were as bad as that Oxford half, probably worse.

Paal was poor and got beat too many times. Luckily, the rest of the defence was on their game. We did well by putting this team to the sword and scoring our chances. If you want to progress that's what a team needs to do and we did it. More Marti magic.

But the amount of space they left for all of our midfielders was crazy. They looked and played like a L1 side. If they get relegated, I am not sure even Eustace can polish that turd. They only have one decent player.

I like Varane but Derby made him look like Xavi, Chair the West London Messi, Koki a Step-Over Ronaldo and well Field ... err like Field.

Marti knew it before the game, saving Smyth and Morgan for our next run of tough games.

Derby are so bad that Madsen has found his next club.

zzzzzzzzzz

You suggest that people criticise a black player because of the colour of his skin and then take offence to the term ‘f*cking idiot’.

It’s juvenile, pathetic , hypocritical and dangerous .
You weren’t the only one but you are across practically every thread constantly spreading your bile and childish discourse yet you want me edited.

You’re a f*cking idiot.

I suggested no such thing - I said, which is true, there was a nasty undertone to the criticisms of Paal, and one wonders where it comes from. Your attempt to pin the 'race card' on me shows the colour of your mind, not mine, which makes you the abusive idiot in my book, with your pathetic and bullying obsession with me - you even admit other posters expressed similar sentiments, yet you selectively scapegoat me for a mild and justified opinion.

I've reported your post, and others can/will avoid you as they see fit. Now kindly shut the f*ck up!

‘Paal wasn't poor, despite the comms pronouncing his name 'pall'. There's a real vendetta against him by some on this board, which is unpleasant, and one wonders about the reasons behind it.’

Report away you utter lemon.

The post above and your last post are clear In their intent , which is to incite .
When Loyalitat clearly picked up your bile and ran with it, did you correct him at any point ? Did you make it clear to him that it wasn’t race related? No.
No , because it’s what you wanted .
It’s all you come on here for. You crave attention across nearly every thread you read .
And in your last post you prove the narcissism you posses and which envelopes you by saying that I’m the bully . You can call me what you like. But a bully definitely not. And to suggest I ( I’ve criticised Paal a fair bit since he’s been here ) and many others on here are influenced by race and we both know that was your aim, is just unacceptable.
You throw the word bully or nasty out on every thread once people have responded angrily to your disgusting and childish nonsense.

Your self awareness is non existent and for me you are ruining this message board and have been for months and months .
The amount of rows and arguments you get into in a near daily basis with different decent QPR fans proves my point.

My “bullying obsession with you “?
I’ve had you on mute for many months !!! That’s hardly obsession and only saw this latest tripe when I wasn’t logged in and unfortunately caught a whiff.
So report me all you like .
If it was a difference of opinion I’d just leave it . But when you deliberately insinuate something that isn’t true I will not “shut the f*ck up” or go away .

Apologies to everyone else reading this .

I wouldn’t normally continue with such playground nonsense but I’ve just had enough of this person now .
With every point raised, this a fair one about Paal being pretty decent Friday , there a snipe or swipe at someone and this one is not acceptable to me .
Crying wolf for attention is the ultimate narcissist and they are ruining a message board that really is a great mix of full and rich opinions usually discussed and argued in an adult and sensible manner.
Emotions can boil over occasionally of course but this board has given me so much info and insight over the years.

So apologies again .

You really are a bile-filled and bitter poster, and, with irony so extreme it's positively indecent, an absolute walking advert for everything you delusionally castigate and scapegoat me for! Do you even register from behind your lens of nasty fury the multiple positive, engaged and discussion-oriented posts and polls I publish about the club? Of course not. You just pursue your own rancid agenda and obsessional need to cut me down for crimes and connections you alone fantasise about like some tuppenny conspirator - the latest being, apparently, I'm trying to stir up some race war on LfW, when I made a general/mild observation about the criticism of Paal, which one or two other posters actually agreed with! And you call me a 'sad tw*t', you sad tw*t!

Though it's ultimately water off a duck's back to me, your slander aside, it's can't be good for your mental or physical health. I worry about you, to be honest, and hope you'll feel better one day. In the meantime, why not take a break yourself?

This thread reminds me of a long train trip to watch Wednesday away decades ago when the train guard told me not to go in the 1st carriage as QPR fans were fighting each other.

I think the reason MC picks him when fit is because of the fact we don't actually have another left back! I thought he did OK last night, much improved set pieces.

We spent all summer trying to offload him and he'll be gone at the end of the season.

We had another LB and he was sent off on loan to Scotland because he was never going to get into the side ahead of Paal.

Yes the chat was we was trying to unload Paal but I personally have seen no evidence, why would we want to offloa??, apart from money which suggests or is because he is a good sellable player - why??, because he is decent at this level and as I said plays most of the time.

And re his corners, if he were to blame like you (& many others) are suggesting....why is he still taking them and taking the majority of them????

I don’t doubt the guy has ability. Just think he’s physically weak and too many of our goals come down his side and often not getting tight enough to his opponent. Don’t hate the bloke, just an opinion.

It was a good ball for Edwards and a good ball across on Tuesday. A few more like those and more than a few less like the majority of his corners and we’re rolling.

Hitting near post corners & free kicks are the most difficult. Generally the near post, which is the most vulnerable defensively, is heavily protected. And the reason why we play a lot of near post balls........the reason why we concede, and I have no evidence that we do, down his side is because the players supporting him do not support him like Smyth does on the right and Dunne is generally a better defender but not as good as Paal going forward. You cannot have everything otherwise he would not be here.

He can certainly take a great corner but he is very inconsistent: perhaps one in four are decent. Better than Chair at corners though hence why he takes most of them when they’re both on the field.

Paal's cross for Edwards goal was almost undefendable, as was his cross for Kolli's goal a while back,

Paal has that Beckham type delivery in his locker but needs to be in the right position, ideally at least 10 yards back from the corner flag / bye line,

Which unfortunately brings me back also to those corners in extra time at Coventry the other other night,

I'm fairly sure Paal was stood on the ball with Chair 5 yards infield to potentially receive the short corner,

Surely this should be the other way round?

Chair is just as inconsistent from corners to be honest but I do think they should mix it up a little bit more

More so,

But my main point is Paal from one side, and likely Chair from the other, can hit very good inswinging crosses, just not for some reason, from the corner flag,

In the final few minutes at Coventry, on Paal's preferred side, he was standing on the corner spot, with the option to play short to Chair, when it should have been the other way round surely.

We certainly should have seen the game out in the last couple of minutes, not very good game management - take a draw and we, the supporters, would have been 'happy'.

But when you listen to the Manager, he wants a win and maybe his instructions, even late in the game, is to go for 3 points.....i don't know MCs orders but I'm sure someone on this MB does know them!!!

When Paal was sending in corners to the back of the 6 yard box which were knocked back into the danger area we scored quite a few. It's only in the last few games where I believe he has been told to fire them at the near post, a more heavily defended area, hence a low success rate. That is down to Marti and Xavi.

We started getting successful at set pieces last season, by playing to Dunne at the near post, for flick ons that either created chances or went in. The same thing we did with Edwards against Derby.

I think all differences of opinion are fair as long as they don't get personal. I have been on the end of personal attacks on here and have taken lengthy breaks as a result. I have come back because it is the best QPR website bar none.
I think it is perfectly fine to disagree with another posters pov and submit your reasons for doing so. What is not fine and shouldn't be tolerated by the moderator is personal insults and name-calling. Some of it is so 'school-yard' it is almost amusing, given the age-profile of the majority of men on here(never seen Nix personally insult anyone) Bit some of it is vile.
Ultimately we all want the same thing - a good time curtesy of our barmy little club - might be no harm to remember that the next time we tap the keyboard 4rr

I'm not sure why everyone is getting all upset about whether Paal is good or not as he'll be gone in May and we'll have to get a new left back to argue about

We are all fans of the same team.

If you can't be polite to ourselves, I am concerned how you speak to people that you dislike.

It's been said many many times before but sometimes chap you really do need to rein things in, in how you speak to others on here.

You come across as unpleasant.

I don't have anyone on ignore here, but sadly I have to with yourself.

You are ruining a very decent forum with consistent and nasty abuse to anyone that disagrees with you.

For you, it's always someone else's fault. You won't change with your abuse to others but you really really should because it's tiresome.

Myself personally, am too old for nonsense, but i do hope one day, the penny drops.

Yes we all occasionally clash but generally around opinions, not just unsolicited name calling and general nastiness.

You cant see this but you are ruining the vibe of the whole forum.
