Jimmy Dunne 18:57 - Dec 7 with 5323 views | numptydumpty | What a man !! Awful family circumstances - his dad passing away this week.. Could not have been that old ie Jimmy is mid 20s I assume. Perfectly reasonable not to play today but a man of the match performance. Not only scored - it had to be - but shortly after made a wonder challenge with a Norwich forward through on goal. Was also up against their star man and he was well controlled. Definitely deserves to be a fans favourite but that performance today, especially given his circumstances was iconic. A true Ranger. Well done Jimmy. You did your old man proud today.. Incredible.... [Post edited 7 Dec 19:00]

Jimmy Dunne on 19:52 - Dec 7 with 3244 views | HantsR | My motm, shading it from Kolli due to his personal circumstances. I thought I saw him gesture to the Heavens when he scored and reckon that was for his dad.

Totally this. He really is Mr QPR. Everything that makes QPR what it is. I am sure scoring that goal must have been emotional for him today and I sure that one was for his dad. He is our new Clint Hill but he is starting to be our Paul Warhurst as well, for those of you who remember him at Sheffield Wednesday.

Interesting how close the squad is. Name checks the manager for letting him play and "having his back" and Madsen for sitting at house in his absence whilst workers were there. They all seem to have been really supporting him during what is a terrible time. These are the types of reasons I love my club.

Battling characters run in the family Brian. Jimmy leaving home at 15 to pursue his football dream. Sometimes Jimmy on the right looks a bit bumbling but he flatters to deceive and often he still comes away with the ball. He is a shoo in for a forever Rs entry and has already inked in his spot as a Rangers legend. [Post edited 7 Dec 22:46]

It was posted here Wednesday I think on the Jimmy Dunne thread so got buired at the last page but probably should have been its own thread .Posters wanted to pay their respects but probably did not want to highlight it on a new thread . Jimmy was superb today and the fact he was hacking away in that scrum and managed to swint his left leg and ram it home was so perfect.Blowing kisses to the QPR fans and pointing to the heavens was pure joy and meant so much to him and his family I suspect . Fair play to him RIP Eamon

What?! He’s been the best right back since Bardsley as far as I’m concerned and so good in both areas at set pieces
