Seems like losing Fox and Dembele late on forced his hand on the sub bench but perhaps someone at the club should let the fans know what is going on with Kolli? Not that he's the answer but it does seem strange that he's been cut adrift. Especially as he is scoring goals at dev and U21 international level.
Enormously honest. Seems exasperated by how badly the team are performing. Interesting near the end of the interview that he says that the fans expected better things and so did the team and management. Points out how easy we are to beat at the moment and that has to change.
Aptly dressed for a funeral. He looks how we all feel. But... I still believe we can turn this around. We did last season. We can again. Does anyone have Hayden's mobile number?
Not too sure why there are threads on here writing our players off already. Feels like bollox to me. I don’t think we’re too far off getting there. Today we were the better team arguably in the first half. Varane’s sending off was clumsy but he slips going into the tackle so a little unlucky. Second half with 10 men it’s hard but the deflected goal changes everything. The Smyth goal there’s nothing wrong with the tussle to get the ball. Not sure what the problem is there? Nardi showing that he’s a really top keeper but the doom and gloom really needs to stop and everyone needs to get behind the team because it’s really not that bad and I think we’ll be fine.
Very impressed with Esse for them. Only 19 and one of their academy players. Very assured on the ball.
As for us we have bags of pace (for once) with Dembele, Saito and Smyth and we need to use that pace more directly. A fit Frey is also a hell of a lot quicker than he was but essentially if you have the kind of pace we have now you need to deploy it a lot more directly.
