I was thinking about the best assists that I have seen over the years. Last night's was superb, as was Taraabt's to Routledge.
Of others, one from Tjarron Cery to Polter came to mind. Eze to Nahki Wells v Cardiff and also, the pass to Chair from the same player v Derby was quite something, assisted in turn of course by a wonderful cross field pass from Wayne Rooney!

I hate the fact that because dykes didn't score... No one talks about Charlie's chest down. That was akin to Taarabt set up for SWP Vs Chelsea
It was great but it was a tremendous block from the defender, who came from nowhere. Don't think Dykes did anything wrong there, he hit it pretty early and it looked like it was going into the bottom corner.

Best pass since Faurlin was at the club. Austin's chest down was also a thing of beauty and deserved the finish, but it was a great sliding block to be fair.
3-1 win away at Ipswich, Super Ray pass I think for Les, although might've been Imps has he got two that day. Put massive spin on it so as Les ran on to it, it stopped almost dead so he could laxe it in. Superb.
Bare bones.

The pass was perfect. But did it look so much better simply because the entire Cardiff defence were off chasing butterflies elsewhere on the pitch at the time, rather than marking Gray?
