But don’t panic, the £12.50 ULEZ charge I pay every home game will negate it.

Funded by Israel?

Nice to see posters leaning into one of the oldest antisemitic tropes going. And half a dozen likes, eh? Good work lads.

(Not) Nice to see someone perpetuating the notion that Israel’s actions represent the entire Jewish world and coming up with the fallacy that criticising Israel is anti-Semitic.

Woodwork squeaks and out come the freaks.

Excuse me this flight seems to have been diverted.

Declassified are absolute grifters. Horrible people whipping up hate pretending to be all good investigative journalism.

Guys, please can we not do this. Clive has already asked yet it's carrying on. Totally get the temptation but try and refrain.

The poster known as nads who claimed that people on this board are perpetuating anti-Semitic tropes is the one who is whipping up hate.

There are many reasons to upvote a post, and there are many reasons to downvote one.Just because I liked a post it doesn’t mean that I agree with all of the content of that post, just as people support a political party, but don’t necessarily agree with all their policies.
I agreed with him over the fact that it’s not the same Labour party that joined,or even voted for in July.
Anyway, this topic is supposed to be about a 3rd runway at Heathrow,so it would be nice to get back to people’s opinions on this topic rather than name calling and other abusive responses.

What a great incentive not to use trains!

Personally I'd support a charge on all vehicles entering London and use the revenue to subsidise public transport, including improving facilities for parking at stations.

I can get a train to Liverpool st from a backwater like Stowmarket for a lot less money than I would pay for a 20-30 minute journey from Shenfield,so you have to question the pricing structure if the idea is to try and stop people driving into London.

I think it's a matter of record that Israeli lobbies have donated heavily to Labour, Nadera.

I don't see anything anti-semetic about that. Nor even anything anti-Israel.

That wasn't the reason I upvoted Esox's post, but I think it is factual all the same.

Slightly off topic but a subject that will continue to get worse due to airline travel numbers growing and pilots getting older and retiring plus severe congestion at many international airports .
I watched a video from that horrific crash in Washington last night showing the helicopter flying towards the plane trying to land with full lights on and they still crashed.
There was another plane taking off that had cleared the area (hard to tell the exact elevation ) but this has happened multiple times in the last 2 years in the US close calls but sadly contact last night.
RIP all victims .

What a complete lack of imagination from the government. Just rehashing old Tory policies that they fought against in the first place.
It will never get built anyway due to the cost etc. Useless the lot of them.

So when do we all think Rachel from accounts will get sacked? Zero credibility. I'm going for before the Autmn budget.

Feel exactly the same. Complete lack of imagination - how do they get these gigs?

The north are crying out for a revamp of their crumbling infrastructure and train network, would go some way to "leveling up".

Lifetime Labour voter (not last time mind) but this lot are shocking.

All sorts of lobby groups donate to all political parties, but it's funny that it's always the Israel-connected ones that get mentioned.

Obvious innit. Others merely donate (Dale Vince, Lord Alli, Martin Taylor, Grayson Perry), pro-Israelis magically “buy”.

You're right that many lobby groups, both in this country and overseas, fund UK MPs.

It's a practice that must be stopped as the dangers of corruption and self interest are extremely high. MPs are voted in to serve their constituents and country, not make a fast buck on the side. And what business does another nation have in funding a UK MP?

It's not only Israel that does this but other countries such as Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. It's wrong on every level.

In this case, I think it's valid to mention Israel specifically and I don't think that made the post anti-semetic, but I see your general point and take it on board.

Anti Zionist NOT anti Semitic, just about the only only Semites in that area are the Palestinians.
Type "Israeli funding of the UK Labour party" in to a search engine and prepare to sit down for a few hours to read through the results. Israel practically owns the PLP.

The grass is always greener.

Easy there fella. All the Jews and Arabs who live in Israel are 'semites'. Others have said it, but you're dangerously close to crossing a line with your posts in this thread my friend.

It's funny how some people will seek any opportunity to peddle their favourite theories, often going wildly off topic - and it's happened in this thread, despite Clive's pleas.
