I know they are part of the customary tribal nonsense which seems to be part of a lot of Swans fan's makeup.
However, singing those songs doesn't half make all us Swans fans look stupid.
The two songs yesterday - " The scum are losing 1'0 / 2-0" and "Cardiff get battered everywhere they go" proved not only yet again to be factually incorrect, but do nothing to support the team.
When we are playing Cardiff I can understand the banter element of such songs.
However in the other 36 games - why not something more relevant? |  |

The alternative can be seen by the majority of away fans that have visited the Liberty this season, no atmosphere.
Swansea as a fan base create an exceptional atmosphere at away games. I agree that we sing about them a little too much, but unless some new songs are started then they will continue.

Always disliked watching any Blackburn game on Tv, even when they were in the prem. 13,000 in a 32,000 seater stadium. They need to close certain stands and have everyone in one, but they spread everyone out, awful atmosphere every time I’ve visited. | | | |

Tbh PJ, after listening to our fans singing them songs for the last two matches, I just thought " What must our players think, let alone the opposition supporters ? "
When we sing about Brewster, Ayew, etc, you can see the players respond.
Not a snowflake, just my viewpoint.
Other viewpoints are permissible.
