5 x Wales Euro 2016 Home Qualifiers £75 on 15:21 - Sep 7 by builthjack | I will be there. Rarely missed a Wales home game in the last 40 years. It's not about Swans v Cardiff. It's supporting your country. |
Try telling that to a thug with twenty mates ( and this goes for both sides ) no matter how you look at it the rivalry between us will bleed heavier than our national identity.

5 x Wales Euro 2016 Home Qualifiers £75 on 14:35 - Sep 7 by JBT95 | Cardiff has better infrastructure than Swansea. All games are in the evening with the earliest kicking off at 5pm on a Sunday, the rest are weekdays at 7.45pm There is only one train east of Swansea that goes to Cardiff after an evening game (I know as I can't travel home by train after evening games in Swansea and live in Newport). However there are trains to many parts of Wales (Valley lines, Ebbw Vale, Abergavenny, Swansea, Carmarthen, Fishguard, Llanelli, Newport just to name a few) and other nearby English places after 2200 on weekdays from Cardiff. Cardiff is nearer to Newport and Swansea than Swansea is to Cardiff and Newport. It's easier to travel to Cardiff from North Wales than Swansea. There is an airport in Cardiff, not Swansea. The CCS can hold over 33k, whereas the Liberty only holds 20800. There is a bigger population in the south-east part of Wales than elsewhere. Only 12k showed up at the Croatia game in Swansea when we had just won the previous two games and had a chance of qualifying still. Anymore reasons you want? If there is fighting between fans it's because people go looking for it or go around wearing club colours. If you don't mention your club or show it, you won't get a kick in. I detest Cardiff for all the examples you have given there and more. It is an underserving capital where all the investment benefits itself and does nothing for the rest of wales. Until there is a proper transport infrastructure in wales with investment across the country then I will be avoiding all things Crapdiff with a passion. Btw. There was no chance of qualifying.

There's a lot of your post that is just plain daft, but as I've not got the time or interest to argue the toss on that I'll let it go. However your last sentence is either naive or utterly stupid. I've been to quite a few Wales games, home and away. Never looked for trouble in my life. Sadly this has not stopped the bassey trolls hunting around in packs trying to find Swans fans. I've sat behind the delightful Corky when he's been cracking jokes about what he and his lot would do to any Jacks they'd find. Such attitudes have driven many thousands of people away from supporting the national side and until attitudes at the FAW who facilitate this nonsense change then the national team will become a proxy for the redbird ilk.

Ah the delightful Corky who is the Football Supporters Federation representative for Wales and who only ever bothers to post FSF info for wales games on Cardiff messageboards and with a convicted football hooligan for a son. Completeandutterclunt

Ah Neath, is that right you got a convicted hooligan as a Director which apparently in fact has done a lot more than Corky's son, yes?

Yep, that means Corky is fine to carry on in his role as a supporters rep who only actually represents Cardiff fans when he is supposed to be representing all Welsh fans of course. As supporters rep and with his son getting a conviction for football violence anyone with any class would have resigned from that post. He's obviously on far too good a gig though.

Nail on head Perch. And what are our esteemed leaders considering? 4 billion pound investment in Cardiff and it's valleys. An area which already had the best transport links in Wales. You really could not make it up.

So you would expect your board member to do the same then? Corky has not been convicted of anything as you well know, don't let the facts get in the way though. By the way, do you know what Corky's son got convicted for? If yes, compare it with the thug on your board. [Post edited 7 Sep 2014 20:50]

Why would our board member resign for something that happened 25 years ago? Get a grip ffs. Stop diverting away from the issue that as an FSF rep, Corky is a disgrace for the fact he only represents and informs Cardiff fans.

You get a grip, Corky is of good character which apparently your board member ain't. If as you say he did inform you, you have made it plain your opinions of him, but that is just your very small narrow mind.

I suppose that would depend on the Dutch equivalent of the rehabilitation of offenders act.

But your always proud of your hooligan achievements ? You should be proud of a Corky, and his son, and you should be proud of Anus, especially when he is following Engurland. It was Anus that came up with the gas a jack to-shirts, then irony intervenes and he is gassed lying on the floor in Belgium following his beloved England. I love irony. Do you Scooby ?
