In amongst all the fun of the game tonight, we are apparently looking to sign an American international right back

He was interesting Forest and West Brom earlier,

"Cannon, who has been on the club’s recruitment radar for two years."

Nice. I prefer when we know a player for some time before signing.

Poll: Player of the Year (so far)

4-year deal, 25, double footed which is really useful and very fast.

“I have always wanted to play in England, this is an incredible opportunity to show what I can do. QPR is a very historic club and I can’t wait to start my career here...

Obviously I'm not quite up to speed yet but I've spoken to the medical staff here and they think I'll be ready by year 3."

If he can operate at this level he could be extremely useful. The fact he is equally good on his right and left foot is a major bonus.

Never knowingly right.

The Shield and The Cannon.
Mr London must be knocking one out with excitement.

Poll: With no leg room, knees killing me, do I just go now or stay for the 2nd half o?

Fingers crossed that this Is a good and much needed signing.

Impressive interview. I think it's safe to say that he doesn't lack confidence. USA International and 82 appearances for Boavista, so quality is there. Fingers crossed he can translate this to the Championship with QPR.

Welcome and good luck, Reggie.

Frankly I'm shocked no one's mentioned how much the training ground was a factor in Cannon signing.

Looks like a good signing is my verdict on a player I only heard about five minutes ago 😆

Can’t help but feel sorry for Kakay though. I loved having a home grown Kilburn lad in the side.

Good luck Reggie.

Never heard of this player but he talks a good game. Is he the first Reg to play for QPR since Reg Allen in 1976?

When are we inviting Geoff Cameron back so they can have a live politics debate?

Reg Allen last played for us in 1950.My boyhood hero.

According to Wikipedia he died in '76 at the young age of 56.

I think it's possible that he may play in front of Kakay with Smyth moved to the left.

It definitely gives Gareth more options with personnel & formation/systems.

Welcome Reggie.

Everyone seems to like this signing so on that basis the signing is fine by me.

Hey Bert! Glad you posted this. You’re a tribute to my late dad’s favourite player..but I never saw either Bert or Reg play.let’s hope our Reggie is better than Dwight!

Seems like a level headed guy watching his interview. Don't know much about him, so fingers crossed he hits the ground running.

Assuming he'll go in as the right wing back to replace Smyth. Wonder if Smyth will go more central and further up to add even more pace next to Armstrong?

You have to hand it to GA so far most of his signings look like they will improve us. No wtf ones. He's targeted area's we lack cover and added players who so far appear equal or better than what we have and who also bring work ethic.

Poll: Are we gonna make the play offs?

Reggie Cannon on 13:40 - Sep 26 with 2217 viewsAndybrat

So all in all a good transfer window, obviously Kevin Gallen won’t be happy as he wants another striker. But have to say fair play, I agree about Kakay he will still play a big part. With our lack of injuries GA will soon have some interesting decisions to make and a decent bench. Need Sam to somehow not get booked in the next 10 odd games ( not gonna happen)
