I have supported the Seasiders for nearly fifty years. I have in the past run Junior football teams Womens and eventually mens teams. I qualified as a coach and took all the necessary badges. I am currently not working. Due to this I have plenty of spare time. I am willing to manage the BFC 1st team. Mainly because it will get me out of the house and put £90 a week in my pocket. I am prepared to wash my own kit and bring my own sandwiches to training each day. I do not want a refund on my season ticket so it is not going to cost KO any more money. Regarding loan signings, well I watch a few local teams and am sure I can get a few of the lads to come and play for us. Again these will not want playing they will do it to help me out. Again this means KO will be quids in as we can charge them £3 match fee as thats what they pay now. I even know the lass at the local launderette who cleans football kits for £10 a kit again saves KO money and if need be we can use the match fee off these lads to pay for it. So if Jose goes today i am available. Only thing I ask is can I have a free pie on match days? |

One thing for sure is in the coming days we will not get any up to date news from Will Watt. He is about as useful as tits on a bull. He stories are only gathered from rumours on the various forums. His job is obviously to report the news but , he is not a journalist he is a reporter only reporting what he gets told. A journalist finds a story and gathers as much information as possible. They do this by asking questions and some of those questions may upset some but that is how to get all the facts and all the truth. If you are in the pockets of one of the problems there is no way you would ask a question that upsets one of your mates. The real stories will come out on FB n Twitter and then the Gazettes reporter will copy n paste them. Sad that the local paper will not ask the questions the fans want asked. |

Its not many times in my life I have felt smug but today is one of them. I sent my shirt and scarf to the club and a note saying this lifelong supporter would not be back until things have drastically changed. I also said in my opinion Jose would not be at the club as manager for the Wolves game. No response from the club, which only gives me more belief that I am right. Blackpool FC is in free fall and thanks to KO and Jose now a laughing stock of football. Players with any sense will not sign for us managers will not work with KO No training facilities being built A squad that is at best League One Just planning on what to do with my saturdays from now on and also what to do with all the money I will save in petrol match day purchases and merchandise. There will be no one sat in our three seats for the next two seasons. Especially next season in league one. |

For the last couple of seasons I have pondered over how KO really runs the club. I have continued to support the club I love and purchased my season tickets and merchandise. Some will say this has only put money into his pocket rather than the clubs. I now feel that this is far more likely than ever. This season has been the worst I have experienced only beaten by our re=election season. We are in far more danger than for many a year. We have a money grabbing twonk as chairman and a stubborn manager. Things will not get any better. Riga himself says we are not strong enough to avoid relegation ( bet the players are chuffed with that comment). I have made my usual 300 mile round trip to see us get beaten and like others have wondered about each starting eleven. There can be no excuses of not being fit or players not knowing each other.I fear for this club and if the two babies do not start speaking and sort things we could end up with the lowest points tally ever. I stayed up late last night hoping for a glimmer of hope and that we may eventually sign someone and actually pay money for. I know we paid for Cubero but he has actually not played ( I doubt he will play for us). So having looked at all this and how things stand. I have got up early and packaged my Blackpool shirt ( with 1 LOVE on the back ) a scarf I got from my first game in 1967 and several other Pool items. I have addressed them to the Chairman and will record deliver them so I know they get to the club. I have put my letter in saying I will not be going again until things are finally sorted. It may seem a futile gesture to some but I feel enough is enough. There is no respect for the hard working loyal fans. The club wants our money respect and support but gives nothing back. A sad day for me but one that has been brought about by two others. |

On saturday I set off at 0930 on my first trip of the 2014/15 season. renewed season ticket in hand. Down through the cattle roads of Cumbria and down the M6 and finally along the M55. A stop at Stanley park to give my dogs a run. Then finally park near the Waterloo. A slow walk to the ground thinking and pondering how the season would go. For the last couple of seasons its not be the best of times. More defeats than wins but more the poor passionless football on display. So it was with some for boding that I took my seat in the ground. Trying to recognise some of the players a difficult task. Yes we may have lost but I saw passion and a style of play long since departed from Bloomfield road. Players moving the ball around and not copying Rovers by just launching the long ball. Yes it may work for them but its not what real football fans want to see.I believe that things will get better as this squad work together and work to Jose's plans. I saw glimpses of players wanting to play attractive open football and not panic. I stayed behind for a few minutes to applaud the players off something again I have not done for many a game. I also believe that some of these players have come to us to prove a point to those that have written them off. Giving some of these players a second chance will work for us. But most of all I will be making the journey down again tuesday afternoon. Same routine including a stop at Stanley park with a belief that a win will come our way. Thanks Jose for giving us back some of our lost pride and passion. There is a long way to go but in you I trust. |
