Any chance the Club can STFU and not keep announcing these things?

Psrsonally think this would be a better buy than Hooper, at least we know he is a proven Championship striker

Poll: Who would you most like to see at QPR?

I disagree, Hooper much the better signing. Austin still a decent player though, better than a lot of current options.

Good to see we have an actual policy in place too, a contingency if 1st choices dont come off.

Hooper is proven in the championship as well. Austin is decent though

And Hooper scoring 19 goals in 35 games for Scunthorpe last time they were in the Championship is not proven?

We need a goalscorer. Hooper better deal for QPR no doubt. Austin, injury prone, suspect character, not as good a player as Hooper or prospect. Not convinced to be honest.

I think Hooper coming back to the championship would raise serious questions about the guy's ambition.

Austin, yes he's proven he's got goals in him at this level, but a move just fell through due to a failed medical.
I want a 'real' striker as much as the next fan, but signing players who have been turned down due to an injury risk represents a risk

QPR - "shit but local"

OK, OK, maybe not an 'announcement' on the offy but people know what I mean.

The club must be telling someone or are people like Dave McIntyre just making it up?

Yeah but everyone knows he's got a dodgy shoulder and has done for a few years. hence why he's cheap and not going to the prem

He failed the medical at Hull because of his knees. Source, Steve Bruce on SSN.

Shoulder wasn't the problem, knees apparently. Sounds ideal. Between him, Zamora and Johnson we've got one complete striker to play alongside Remy as long as he doesn't get sent down for rape or leave.

And thats the issue, id have taken Austin any day before his medical, probably over Hooper, however if that medical is to be believed it wouldn't be the best move in the world.

Its ok, we will give him the "Sturridge" medical. Not a problem.

Smells like a trout farm in here

But then Demba Ba failed the Stoke medical and went on to be brilliant for West Ham and Newcastle.

This would be a terrible signing unless Burnley lower their valuation.
Theres something not right about him for Hull to drop him like a hot potato.
Be it his knee or other rumours doing the rounds its a risk, and you just know it'll all kick off when if he signs for us

The clue to his failed medical is in his first name I believe.

Also Demba Ba is supposed to have dodgy knees, he's been alright since that failed Stoke medical

He had an amazing season for sure, but there was a fairly large part of it where he barely scored any goals. I don't think he's a particulary good all round player either! But what choice do we have, Hoopers gone to Norwich because he's so 'ambitious' after all.

Sadly in both cases (especially Adels) they want out because of Redknapp.

I don't think they want out of QPR, it's just that HR doesn't like them and makes it very clear.
