WHAT GAME DO WE GO DOWN OFFICIALLY ? 17:41 - Mar 25 with 994 views | actonman | having accepted we're gone many games ago i was still getting by with hope. The hope has now dissapeared so just wondering when the final nail will go in and we can draw a line under this season. i have a feeling it will be chelsea away just to rub more salt in the wounds.
WHAT GAME DO WE GO DOWN OFFICIALLY ? on 17:47 - Mar 25 with 975 views | Neil_SI | As fans we still have a part to play. Whether we feel we're going down or not, the fact is, we're not down yet and we're not down until it's mathematically proven. In the meantime we really need to roll up our sleeves and get behind the team as much as we can and do our bit. If we can offer any help it's our duty to do so and to our benefit and every little helps. It's important we understand our role in this, and if we're not behind the team we're not going to help the situation and accelerate it more quickly to an outcome that nobody wants to see. Win, lose or draw, the players will get my total support for each and every game and when it's all done and dusted, and whether we're relegated or not, then will be the time to reflect and have your say on what you felt could have been done better.
WHAT GAME DO WE GO DOWN OFFICIALLY ? on 17:49 - Mar 25 with 969 views | RANGERS4EVER | John Terry with the goal in the 90th minute to win it for them to finish 4th and us to go down. Unrealistic. But we are QPR. Anything can happen.

Agree Neil we need the noise levels we generated against Liverpool at every home game I feel sure we have another surprise up our sleeve against one of the big boys.. Will give 100% backing to the lads until the last ball is kicked.... whilst it looks very likely we will go down you never Know nights like wednesday might happen again.... who says miracales never happen

Majority of those players DO give 100%!! If you dont like the idea then go and find a club that has ALL players giving 100%. And good luck with that one If we get on the players backs between now and the end of the season, come the beginning of next season morale will still be rock bottom!! Having seen all the players this year, you can count the number of players not giving 100% on one hand... There is a difference between players not putting in the effort and not being good enough at this level!!
WHAT GAME DO WE GO DOWN OFFICIALLY ? on 20:35 - Mar 25 with 749 views | Neil_SI | I really don't believe the players go out there wanting to play badly. But, this isn't about that, it's about us. We are in it together and we need to do our bit, regardless of what they're doing and we should make sure that we play our part to the maximum and clearly when they need it most like they do now. We do need to cut them some slack, give them the benefit of the doubt, and there needs to be a little give and take in this situation. Look at it from their perspective: perhaps there's divisions in the camp, perhaps some of them are in poor form, perhaps some of them don't care as much as they should, perhaps some of them are not focused, perhaps some of them are really feeling the pressure of trying to win matches in this scrap, perhaps some of them know deep down that they're just not good enough, perhaps some of them are scared they'll never reach this level again and perhaps they're feeling the pressure of expectancy from the crowd. It's a lonely world when you're in a rut and your own fans are on your back. I look at QPR as I look at my own. We are all family. If you had one of your kids out there on the pitch, you'd get behind them no matter what. You'd support them no matter what and you'd be there through thick and thin, the good times and the bad, and support them when things aren't going to plan. Sometimes your kids do naughty things and go through bad phases, but that does not mean you turn your back on them. And I certainly won't turn my back on our lot. No chance. Let's get stuck in and fight for them from the side, let's help try and lift them, it's our responsibility to do so.

You will never convince some on here Neil... Some clearly get more enjoyment out of knocking the players and the club than supporting them... That will for me be the only advantage of going down, we will hopefully get rid of them!! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Not wishing to criticise anyone's opinion but I don't think being realistic (i.e bleak) has anything to do with supporting the team. I am 100 per cent behind the team and support them regardless. However that doesn't mean I'm not dismayed with the status quo and the obviously poor decision regarding the management of it. I wish it were different but it isn't.

I don't think that they are good enough or have given 100%. I've seen our players continuously start games slow and be 2nd to every ball. There is no excuse for not putting a shift in. Players don't need the fans behind them to win. If you are a winner by nature you will win regardless. Fact of the matter is that we have signed players who have the wrong attitude and don't give a toss. We have too many egos who don't wish to play as a team. The fans are right to give the players stick, we have been served up shite all season. If the players don't buck up their ideas, they are heading for more abuse, those fans have paid alot of money for their season tickets as well as given up their valuable time to watch Rangers.

Like everything, it's about choice. If you link the time spent or the money paid going to watch Rangers home and away to their performances, well, then you'd have come to the conclusion many, many years ago that's not a very sane thing to do. That, or we've all got some serious issues with our decision making (and maybe we still do!) But it's about the cultural experience and a way of life. The club means more to us than some people realise and for many it's literally been engrained into our blood since birth and remains central to our lives and who we are. We are part of this and there is nothing wrong with us stepping up to the plate and leading by example if we have to.

TBH I don't reckon that would be enough ...Bolton & Blackburn are more than capable of winning 3 of their remaining games and that will keep them above us!

Disagree. A few weeks ago, 34 would've been enough, but not now IMO. Bolton have a galvanised squad and the player of the month.
