Eze Transfer Deal 17:33 - Jan 22 with 1925 views | numptydumpty | Ezes sale from Palace has more chance of happening in January as the release clause comes back into operation at £68 million at the end of the season. For me, I don't think he is value at £68 million, so reading between the lines, there could be more interest in him now as teams could get him at a much reduced transfer fee. Palace were very surprised no one came in for him last season and his stock was seemingly higher then also. The main stumbling block is rumours abound that Palace want to keep him and he is contracted there up and till 2027. This particular money tree, I don't think is coming our way anytime soon unfortunately. [Post edited 22 Jan 18:13]

Ooh sorry sir. Had not seen any threads during this transfer window, hence why I posted it. I don't read everything on here. And it seems relevant to me, because it would mean another minimum £10 million into our bank accounts. Hence possibilities for more transfer funds now. And it's this new knowledge that there is no current release clause in January, which is interesting to me as it makes the probabilities of his transfer greater, as clubs could get Eze for way less than the previous release clause figure of £68 million. Was just opening up debate to see what others thought about possibilities of his sale this window. Had no idea there were any other threads on here recently. But yes sorry I consider myself told off.. And I am so boring !!! [Post edited 22 Jan 23:59]

You obviously haven’t been paying attention to the bbc as they pronounce his name as Eza.

When you look at some of the transfer fees being quoted for players some of us have never heard of,£60 million seems like a bargain for such a game changer as Eze. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Eze Transfer Deal on 10:18 - Jan 23 with 616 views | gazza1 | Seems a lot of money...£60 million. I know a couple of Palace season ticket holders and they are telling me that Eze is very decent but not playing as well as he did last season......and the reason he is still at the club.

Sorry, wasn't trying to be awkward but there have been two other Eze threads just in the last few days alone. Eze... by thehat 20 Jan 17:29
Seems to be playing himself back into form - 2 assists in his last 2 games and Palace back on the up. The assist on Saturday was sublime, perfect weight of pass with his weaker foot.
Surely a Man Utd or Spurs will be thinking of activating his release clause this month.
Would be bloody helpful in securing a new contract for our Jimmy. Sure, there's been a lot of traffic this last week due to two away wins (yay!) and any regular visitor will surely have seen them, you even commented on one of them yourself four times

Agreed. Maybe in the summer they would have done but the season he is currently having it's a maximum of £40-45 million for him and at that price Palace won't want to sell.
