1) 11 hour inquest on Saturday!

2) Can we please just leave him alone until after the last game, he is doing his best and if we don't stay up it won't be for lack of effort and commitment on his part

As he said, lest get to the end of the season THEN sort the club out, no point trying to do iot now with sackings, boycotts, protests and yes booing the players.

That was a pretty amazing interview. No smooth PR platitudes there imho.

Ains is certainly giving his all, just as he did for us as a player. Whatever he did on Saturday had its effect today with a much improved performance from everyone. We're not out of the woods yet but perhaps we've finally found the path that can get us there.

Most impassioned interview of the season.

After 11 hours on Saturday and then after 13 minutes today he must have been thinking what the hell am I doing with my life?

I think he may be doing quite a few 11 hour days over the next few weeks to keep them focussed.

They have to come out against Coventry and really take the game to them early on, get themselves ahead and try and play with some confidence. There was definitely belief creeping back in at the end of this game. They weren't hanging on and they were knocking on the door.

Let's hope they don't forget all about this next weekend. If you can't feed off the enthusiasm and will of your manager after a post match talk like that then you really are done.

I just hope they can come out at Loftus Road and really give the fans a win they deserve.

Never knowingly right.

Wonderful interview. Rings true 100%. Now go and have a good rest !

11 hour Saturday. Wow ! Very very risky. Very high chance of mental fatigue somewhere or another within the team or coaching staff. Risky.

Good for him and good to see it in him after looking totally haunted at the end against PNE.

Transfer his passion to performances on the pitch and he's right, we'll be ok.

Huge week now before Cov, good luck to them and get some momentum from the off.

Fck off to anyone who is not inspired or impressed with that. Sure words are easy but if those players cannot respond to a manager who is as passioned as that then they are not human.
Seen so much shit written about Hoof ball from certain fans who really imo have got no idea. Anyway that’s another debate.
Roll on Saturday and we now need a performance akin to the Watford win to back up todays performance.

The passion in GA surely has to rub off on these players at some point.

Honesty and integrity in spades !!!

Unlike a chap that's not beaten his only rivals up north in three encounters !!!

Think if he can get a tune out of this squad, he could become a long term manager for our club.

Only one objective for rest of season is survival.

Perhaps his words that the game is not done when you go behind actually conveyed that through to the players finally.

We deserved to win today.

The next two home games are massive !!!

Great passion from GA. Almost worrying his ticker might not be able to cope.

As well as feeling proud, he must be massively relieved because we finally have a performance to build on !!!

If it's the same interview that I heard on Radio London then

Aside from the massive improvement in effort, what pleased me most about today's performance was that we played some football at times, tried to work the ball wide to get crosses in which proves it doesn't have to be constant hoofball under Ainsworth. There is hope.

Positive. Most important nugget in there was it sounds like he may have got through to the players that they may think they have been trying hard, but that they haven’t been close to giving everything they have.

The forcing them to go over to fans as a way for them to be held accountable sounds like the evidence they needed that they could give more. If they’ve given everything what is there to be worried about?

I have a lot of time for Gareth. He's honest. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He loves this club.
He has a deep connection with the fans. And more importantly, he has the people skills to wring out performances like that, from that group of players.

Thanks to him, that performance he got out of them today, I find myself believing we are going to stay up.
And next season, with that wonderful man in charge, we will have a more enjoyable time of it.

I hope he can keep us up, being honest though his results since he took over have been poor.
Chuffed to bits with today's result and today's other results but If we're gonna survive In this league that's when Il get a bit carried away.

Five more games to go we've done nothing yet.

Great interview Gareth Ainsworth.
Hope he can build on today and keep us up: I certainly trust him to rebuild in the summer.

Great interview. He seems confident that he’s got through to the players at last. Wish I was going to the Coventry game. I reckon LR will be rocking after today’s performance. Give ‘em hell!

Wow that stirs the emotions. If he can get a similar feeling into the players then we have a chance.

I've heard a lot about him being clueless from the usual idiots on twitter etc but to me he seems anything but. Very much in the Warnock mould of a man manager and motivator and with his own squad could do very good things with us.

Coming back from two down will hopefully give the team a real lift and reduce the tendency for heads to drop after conceding.

Now lets get through 15 mins against Coventry without going behind.
