Don’t â˜€ï¸ sunny days make a difference. Was going to start reading my book but seems a shame not to make the most of this weather. May take the doggies a nice long walk

Looks like a dog walking day along a canal footpath, or sitting listening to Test Match Special while reading a book.

It's a dear do at the vet's nowadays Red.
I'd say that Spud has racked up a fair few vet's bills with all the animals he's got.
On the weather front.
Living in a gentler climate is great.
Here, we probably get a dozen or so days every summer when it's too hot. I haven't got air conditioning but you have to adjust your lifestyle to get through.
The best thing is the length of time when the weather is agreeable. The real nasty stuff is only in December, January, and February. Much shorter.
Learning to read clusters is not something your eyes do naturally. It takes constant practice.

Well that didn’t go as planned. Went out just before 9 and just back, having a nice cup of coffee in the garden. You know one of those days when you find everything that you’ve been searching for. So it’s been spend spend spend. Had to hold myself back from buying a bar for the garden. 🤦â€â™€ï¸ðŸ˜‚
Kids would have liked it though.

Sunny days really do make a difference to my attitude and mood. I find it much more difficult to be a miserable old git! Beer in the garden sounds nice too Jane, I don’t know where this came from but when I read your post about a bar at home I suddenly remembered a tv advert from years ago - Davenports Beer at Home. Anyone else remember this? Years before home deliveries became the norm. I can remember the important things in life!

Don't remember Davenports Fred, earliest I can remember are those horrid party cans that Watneys & John Smiths (Bods as well I think) use to do from the late 70's through to the 80's.
Cracking find Spell.

Thanks Spell chekker, that's it! What a cracking advert, makes you feel all happy and thirsty! No expensive team of ad men needed to develop adverts than, they didn’t even need a ZX Spectrum! Cheers

Those bodcans were tricky to open. At parties, I bent many a kitchen knife trying to punch a hole in the top of one.
Fred
Yup, Bodkan. As Spell has said, nightmare to open and tasted awful. There was quite a home brew craze at the same time as well, iirc. Not surprised looking back, those party cans were poor.

Cat piss 😂. Wonder why it’s never dog piss 🤔
Those party cans were so bad I went through a spell of drinking Breaker and Colt 45, to my eternal shame.

It’s absolutely beautiful here in Newquay. Been out early morning on the bike struggling up the hills. Ended up getting lost but finding a lovely pub and then ordering a taxi to take me plus bicycle home. Loving being back.😃

You back permanently now Hannibal, and living in Cornwall?
