I voted leave , but never expected to leave, with the arch remainer in charge. Mother Theresa spent the whole of the leave campaign hiding behind her sofa and never uttering a word on the subject. It seems to me after nearly 3 years someone said oh we are leaving at the end of March Any one got an old fag packet we will write a couple of ideas down. We are cursed in this country with extremely low grade politicians, gutless, clueless & useless. One last thing can any remainer explain the Lisbon treaty to me. The one where Gordon Brown promised us a referendum didn't let us have one then sneaked in the back door days after all the others had voted, and signed.

Who knows what deal the 3 amigos could have ! We will never ever know..... The past 1001 days as been a total farce by parliament and i would presume no thought to the 17m who voted to leave in the referendum.... We in our house voted to leave the EU because we do not like the way the EU is run by the nonelected nonces in brussels..... Our decision was not in any connected to the propaganda bull shit spouted by the leave and the stay parties... The common market, The EEC or the EU as grown beyond what it was orginally intended to be... Easier trading between countries...... Now it as become grotesque and out of control....

If the Leave campaign had been honest and said they didn't know the impact of leaving, but hoped it would provide x,y and z, they wouldn't have got the backing that they did. So they lied, and many people fell for it. If the Remain campaign had said the price of the iPhone is going to go up, and it might cost £10 for a visa to visit Benidorm, the likes of Mercedes from Belfield would have easily identified with that and realised her Little Englander attitude shouldn't get in the way of common sense. It's been a farce since day one. Those who voted Remain are seeing the lies unravel day by day, and those who voted Leave are seeing the same things but don't want to lose face by admitted they fell for the lies hook, line and sinker. There's so shame in that, and those people aren't on their own, in fact you're in a majority! It's ironic really, the Leave campaign are (rightly) arguing that this was a democratic vote, yet the only way the lies could be passed as policies would be under a dictatorship that denies rights to some of the people. Don't blame May either. She might come across as a useless negotiator or leader, but the task that's been put in front of her by the so will of the people is a joke. I don't think there will be a second referendum. I think we are stuck with what we voted for, and the fallout is going to be rough. I've never been so embarrased to be British.

Because the demands we are making will benefit the economies and industries of the member states of the EU. It’s a farce run by idealougues.

Within a month of Italy voting in a so called right wing populist government they sat around the table with the EU and managed to come up with a solution to the migrant crisis. A right wing populist would of run rings around those at the EU, Viktor Orban has. Unfortunately we don’t have one, Boris and Mogg are happy to snipe from the sidelines rather then take centre stage. While we are on the subject whatever happened to Lexit ( the left wing brexit people like Owen Jones and Kate hoey were proposing)

It is an example of the remain camp not accepting the result, like the undemocratic EU. Every time the EU loses a referendum, they get the people to vote again or just ignore the result ans carry on as if nothing as happened. I cannot understand why people want o remain in an organisation, which is so undemocratic and treats the people of Europe with utter contempt. I do not want to become a forced citizen of the United States of Europe. I would rather be poor and free, then poor and enslaved in an undemocratic EU.

Some might be unelected but their sexuality isn't relevant and using such language demeans your (otherwise valid) argument. ps - was I away when we had the vote for the UK head of state?

Also what is so inherantly wrong with the customs union? Literally every single country in the world has some form of customs union with their direct neighbours. It enables strength in trade negotiations through forcing other countries to obey by the larger trading's blocks rules and regulations. There is a reason why the Trump named not Russia or China his greatest foe, but the EU. This is because as a united bloc we have more leverage than the US. This fact is a truly remarkable accomplishment considering how divided Europe a century ago and it makes me feel proud that we are a major part of that. Countries around the world are licking their lips at the thought of a stranded UK with no trade deals coming begging for one without the leverage we enjoyed in the bloc. Hello chlorinated chicken and full access of private US pharma companies to the NHS: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/05/15/trump-threatens-use-us-trade-talks-f Trump wants a fast US-UK trade deal not because he's friends with us, but because he wants to exploit us in a position where we are at our most vulnerable. I don't understand what we serve to gain from 'creating our on laws' either. We 'win'/accept 95% of the laws that vote on in the EU Council, with us only having to implement <2% of laws we voted against (mostly tax avoidance actually surprise surprise when we have lots of UKIP/Tory MEPs liek Farage representing us). https://fullfact.org/europe/eu-facts-behind-claims-uk-influence/
