Match thread: Wigan home on 10:06 - Apr 13 by tony_roch975 | credit for being 10 times richer than our club so they can buy the best players!!!! the fight of our players to not be overawed and to try to get something from the game (we played the better football 1st half) is why I'm proud to be a Dale fan - those who want the easy life of the rich can join the City/Utd brigade |
Some info from last years Wigan accounts just shows you what we are up against. The previous promotion from league 1 they had a player salary budget of nearly £12 million and a total budget of £20 million! I think our total budget is still under £2 million. https://www.wiganathletic.com/news/2018/january/club-statement-on-2017-financial [Post edited 13 Apr 2018 11:31]

Only the Peterborough player would know if he deliberately blocked him - it could have been a 2nd yellow as he'd already been booked. The ref in showing the straight red meant the decision could be overturned - had he shown a 2nd yellow it couldn't have been appealed. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/plymouth-argyle/11322 |
Aye, I watched it last Saturday night. I think Carey’s part in it all has been overlooked somewhat. | |
