There's a picture of Keith Harries with Kaplan out there somewhere. I'm pretty sure I can find it as it was in the press around the time of the deal. Was it a picture of them walking together through the town centre and nobody recognised Harries?
Nigel's brother (Steve) was instrumental in Keith Harries being involved with McClure when 9th Floor (Silver Shield) bought us.
Huw Cooze carried the can for much of what's gone on surrounding the 2nd American deal, but isn't there someone else we should be pointing our fingers at?

I say it as I see it Itchy as you well know. The first few pages of this thread was pretty much one way traffic in terms of people saying he is making a fool of himself and barking up the wrong tree. I have no issue in redressing the balance - if that is ''swinging from his nuts'' then pass the gripping chalk as I will be swinging for quite some time if this is the sort of work people will do to oust such obvious incompetent rubbish.

I thought it was strange that an incoming Chairman wouldn't make his first line dedicated to the work of the outgoing Chairman, especially someone who left after 11 unforgettable years.
As I mentioned at the time, it's pretty standard to do so and Will not doing so made me quite confused, so I did some digging.
Apparently, Will had been trying to oust Phil for about 18-24 months and hasn't been the 'trusted Trust person' that we expect from someone in such a position of power.
He's back-stabbed his way around the Trust and, from everything I've been told today (by several people), seems to care more about his title than the role itself. I haven't spoken to Phil about this as I know Phil wouldn't want to air his dirty washing in public and would probably be too polite to confirm it anyway.
I won't go into finer detail as I don't think it's the right thing to do here, but I'm sure you all get my drift.
So, Will.....you've done your 12 years and you've shown your true colours too, so grab your coat and close the door on your way out please.
Although the Yanks seem to be two-faced, we aren't and we don't want to be represented by someone who is. |

I remember the pic but I don't think people wondered why Nigel hadn't mentioned any potential sale to anyone within the Trust when the chances of him not knowing that his brother was advising someone to buy the Swans (of all 92 league clubs) are slim to zero.
