I'm not making this one but will be boosting the masses of our Tokyo fan base in a Roppongi bar.

I'm feeling upbeat about this result.

Come on the real City

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

My guess is his bike will be parked close by ready for his long ride off into the sunset after we are annihilated by the other City.

Yeah we will be 5 down by half time with that formation I would go with either Mo or Jeff to start then bring the other one on second half
That formation leaves our full backs too exposed

Adventurous, I'll give you that. But we need an extra body in midfield, someone with a bit of meat on him.

So it's a choice between keeping both wingers and sacrificing a striker, or keeping both strikers and sacrificing a winger, which would be a tad unbalanced.

I'd swop Llorente for Fer in that line up, otherwise it's good to go.

Aye, I suppose so, Citeh destroy teams by relentless accurate quick passing, and by pressing the opposition when they don't have possession.

But who knows, if the football Gods are smiling on us, if they have an off day, and if all our players concentrate on marking and tackling for 90 plus minutes, we might get something.

Looks like Company's out then. Given they've been slaughtering teams without him, I guess that doesn't really mean anything for us.

It's going to be a windy one so lots of high crosses into the box for their dodgy keeper.

He saved their bacon quite a few times on Wednesday with great defending.
Gives our guys more chnace of scoring.

I'd go with your suggestion too Mike.

I know you weren't there Wednesday (I looked for you in your usual seat btw) but as for the vdH/Mawson choice in that lineup instead of Fernandez, I think vdH certainly did enough to warrant keeping his place. He's more composed on the ball than FF, doesn't look likely to get a yellow card every time he goes near an opponent and seems to have a far greater understanding of the relevance of the shirt colours when passing. I also felt Jordi looked less jittery without FF there too.

Look at Wednesday night for example. With a more adventurous lineup we could have beaten them. With Montero & Barrow closing down their goalkeeper we would be rolling in the goals. We would be leaving ourselves exposed at the back yes but look at the job Leon can do sitting in front of that back 4. We need some positivity and adventure in our play. Ask yourself how boring are we to watch? I would rather lose 5-4 and get some entertainment than lose 1-0. We can even take Llorente out and put an extra man in midfield. We just have to put Montero on at the same time. Having only 1 leaves them isolated as the opposition only have the 1 to deal with and can easily double up on them.

I can't shake the feeling we're going to get battered
But i'd rather get battered with the feeling we at least tried to win than setting up for a 0-0
I just can't help feeling hes going to go back to the 5 man defence again or naughton on the right wing again
It's a difficult situation because City overload the midfield with their 2 full backs playing more centre mid
I wouldnt be completely against a 5-3-2 system with Barrow and Borja as the starting strikers, a little similar in how Wales play
but then I feel that formation would require Sigurdsson to make way for a more defensive midfielder, but then hes always got an opportunity to score from set plays
Ah whod be a manager huh
