Our first season in the Prem I was happy enough with him. The target was survival and a defensive minded fullback who could do a job was more than enough. The problems began in season two.
Once we survived the first season then he was never going to be enough. We lucked out a bit with Davies but relying on Taylor after he left was always going to be asking for trouble, never mind doing it for a few seasons. So it's proved.
