Even if you had fans prepared to put in a grand each it would take 40,000 of them just to pay the fine! With the amounts of money required now I think it’s a complete non starter.

it would still need someone (preferably a rich someone) to act as the figure head and lead. I expect with all the losses the club makes, we would need to chip in every year!

If TF does go and sells up the chances that the buyer will be a level headed knowledgeable person are nil. It will be some Chinese/ far east, Russian or American idiot.Thats the way of football in the UK at the moment

If, or when, it all goes south it would be a waste of our money to buy the club. We'd be better off using our limited resources to start again, AFC Wimbledon style, and work our way through non-league.

And, structurally, our best bet would be to copy the German model - the fans owning 51% through a trust, and private investors taking on the other 49%. That would give us control, but allow the investment needed to get it off the ground, and there are enough QPR-supporting businessmen with the (relatively) small sums required to invest at that level.

But if we buy the club we will have the following problems:
1. Who are we going to slag off when we lose a couple of games?
2. We will be sacking DOF / manager on a monthly basis.
3. We will be hiring 10 different managers at a time because we can't agree on the day let alone who we want in charge.
4. Any player who has been half decent will be bought back to the club.
5. In 10 years time Clint Hill will still be playing left back for us because no one would want to get rid of him.
