I think that's highly debatable. What's less so is that men have been responsible for 99% of wars, political oppression, slavery, and such like. |

Or who should we do next? How about benefit scroungers or refugees - who are worse for the country? |

Very fair point nix, but I still fancy a happy Rs team against grumpy budgies. Let's hope we get a decent ref though. |

I think we could harvest a few more points than 4 from these games. I've got a good feeling about Norwich away; they're in poor form and Swansea are so, so at best. I'm hoping for a very un-QPR Christmas and 5 or 6 points. |

Yeah, it's hard to see either Dane starting at the moment. Somehow Marti has to find a way of getting a tune out of Madsen as we're stuck with him longer term. Andersen will surely move on in the summer. |

In his short career so far Bennie's mainly played LW or RW, but the lad's only 18 so still developing his game. |

Rude as ever. Yes, I know Cifuentes has input into signings just as Belk does but, as CEO and de facto director of football, the buck stops with Nourry. While he must then take the lion share of the blame, Cifuentes has to find the solutions. And, in regard to your reply to my other post regarding Nourry's communication strategy, your argument works both ways. You don't know either. I prefer to take Clive's perspective on this particular issue rather than a contrarian like you. |

I'd like to agree about the contract renewals but the thing is, because Nourry doesn't want to communicate about them, we may never know one way or another until players depart. The players you mention may even have had their contracts renewed already. |

You're so spot on, Dorse. Marsh, Bowles, Taarabt and many more were all 'a little bit mad'. Mind you, derangement generally shouldn't go as far as Diakite levels for reasons of in play health and safety. |
| Forum Reply | Smyth. at 13:58 22 Dec 2024
I hold my hand up as one of Smyth's detractors. We all know what his weaknesses are but, if the last few games are anything to go by, he's beginning to improve his final ball. He's a great character, a willing runner and a very useful weapon against most defences at this level. Once Dembele returns he'll see fewer starts but will always be given a place on the bench and more often than not get minutes. |

Arguably our most improved new signing, he's getting better all the time (sing along). I like his first time passing giving players a little more time on the ball, something our other midfielders don't do. I'm sure he'll brush up on his shooting and score a worldy soon. Hayden who? |

You may prove right about Nourry in the long term, but the issues with this CEO are not only about player recruitment. His communication (or rather the lack of it) strategy has pee'd off a large section of the fans and he appears to have shut down Cifuentes' engagement with this site and the supporters evening. That's control freakery which, in my experience, always rings alarm bells. |

Marti should get the credit for finding solutions to the issues resulting from Nourry's decisions. Some of the players too. If we had a lesser manager we'd be in deeper shit. "Nourry out" for me too. |

St Jimmy of Dunne is actually a 6' 4" shithouse block right back. |
| Forum Reply | Morgan at 07:40 22 Dec 2024
As mentioned elsewhere, Morgan has shown up the two Danes to be significant problems. Can Marti rectify their sub standard performances? He needs to because an 18 year old Morgan won't maintain the level he played to yesterday through the rest of this season. He's some find though so, can I say, well done our recruitment team?! |

"Stay out the pubs; it's not good for you". I wonder why he said that? |

I'm as delirious as everyone right now but can't help be concerned that we missed so many chances yet again. We should have scored 4 today, maybe more. I think we've hit the woodwork more than any other team in the league and we did so twice today. Perhaps now we're in a more comfortable league position the players can relax a little more and find greater composure in scoring opportunities. |
