Very poor from us. Midfield non existent.
Frey is trying but there's nothing coming in as support.
SW have had nearly 60% possession, 9 attempts to our 2. Our only effort on target was a Fey header where a deflection took all the pace off the cross.
We're going to have to improve to get anything out of this.

I wouldn't read too much into a 7-1 win in the PL Cup. Preston U21s have been beaten by Crewe and Wigan, both of them beaten by our DS. They are not in the PDL2 North league so may be a level below that;
However, Trialist B hasn't done himself any harm with a hat-trick. Harry Murphy got 3 as well. Some confusion over the scorer of our first. PNE repot and Twitter said Emerson Sutton, our Match Report said Kolli.
Let's see how they get on against Blackburn and Colchester in same competition. |

I know it was an international break but about the only bits of news were Dev Squad match report from Tuesday & Marti preview for Sheff Wed. Meanwhile, Newsnow has 4/5 articles per day from Sheffield.
Is this what we have to get used to? |

That summary is broadly in.line with BBC Sports report yesterday.

Living in France I never got the WFA. France counts Montserrat & Guadeloupe in avg temp calcs.
I can't argue against the principle of ending the being the benefit. Quite a few OAPs I know don't need it. However it's where you draw the line |

Finland made life difficult but they are a long way from top tier.
Eze had 20 minutes but nothing came off for him. When Bellingham, Foden and Palmer return he'll struggle to get in squad.
Disappointed with Gordon. No end product. Thought Angel Gomes looked good.
Overall though, we're over reliant on Kane up front and the defence still looks very shaky. |

He's said that his oerformance in the last Euros wasn't him at his best.
But you cannot argue with his record. 100 caps, 68 goals now. True, there isn't much competition for his place but, assuming he stays fit, he could beat Shilton's record of 125 caps. |
