Former posters on 23:39 - Jan 20 by timcocking | I don't blame them. It's probably the constant hostility. Too many people who don't really seem to understand too much about football in reality, but love to insult other people anonymously from behind a screen for stating obvious truth, or a misapprehension even. It's draining, people get sick of it, don't need it. I'd have disappeared a million times, but i can't stop reading Clive's beautiful articles. |

Smeg, Paul, Del, and those cronies used to sit in front of us in JU Upper. Always arrived 20mins into the game and more as often, left 20 mins early..... pished doesn't come into it.. Also went to many England away in Paul's company - have to say, so glad that he has stopped the drinking because he could be a liability. Absolutely lovely bloke though - used to come to so many gigs at my venues... Still see him regularly. Incredibly kind bloke. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I started on here in 1998 and have followed this forum since then. i'm 61 now and I've been living in Leiden NL since 2007, my health situation is bad (2 heart attacks as well as other issues) but I'm still the same as I always was, drinking beer, smoking weed (legal here), listening to rock music and going to gigs (until the covid shit kicked in). Disappeared almost as quickly as he arrived - with both events coincidentally coinciding with Gianni Paladini's arrival and departure.

Yeh the absolute best person, do anything at all for you. Some of the stories from the 90s and early 00s are legendary. My mum absolutely despaired. Once fell asleep on a train into London, woke up thinking it had gone in and come out again so got off, in fact it hadn't done that at all and was also the last train. Rang long suffering wife to come and pick him up from Ally Pally or wherever he was only to be informed of two problems 1 - It's 1am, you've woken me up. 2 - You sold the car on Tuesday to pay for the trip, I've got nothing to pick you up in. Goodnight Paul.

Would (were), you be the tall, very long haired gent from Hayes, or somewhere over that way? If so, another poster on here is writing a book about the Bandwagon, which I’ve contributed to. If you’re who I think, you’d be a worthy addition. PM me if I’m on the right track, I don’t think it’s too late to pass on details.

Former posters on 10:24 - Jan 21 by TheChef | Ah the Magrill siblings, not heard their names for a while! They used to feature quite a lot on the QPR List but that's probably around 20 years ago now - don't know what happened to them. We also had the Friedlander sisters and the Le Saux brothers. The QPR List is still going strong, although it recently had to migrate to Google Groups when Yahoo Groups closed. |
The QPR List is still going?! Bloody Hell, that's 25 years then cos it was going in 95/96 I think. The Le Saux brothers were great company and Nik posted very rarely on here as Barbajal and Noam was great and not just for the inside info we'd all crowd around her in the White Hart to get from her post match interviews. Shit football, shit pub, happy days!

The Bandwagon in Kingsbury? The Prince of Wales was a rough old boozer, now a Tesco (I think) with flats over. Anyone know about SM who used to be a ST holder from the I of W (his avatar was of the Wightlink ferry) who used to do match reports?
