We had some fortune with results today. Tomorrow we need to make our own luck and do ourselves a favour. 'Poor Us' stories are wearing thin. Just nail it now. No excuses, no tears.

Will he go for something bold and different? I like the idea of a false 9 or one striker with two wingers bombing on.

New manager in the seats with Curt, confidence from Watford, good results today and Everton injuries and shite defence. Time to change the Goodison record.

Whilst I whole-heartedly agree with the obvious truism that it's our results that matter a draw today will almost seem like a victory, a victory like the fabled six points and a hard-fought loss not a disaster.

The orthodox are always orthodox, regardless of the orthodoxy.

Can we expect some new formation today? If so, what do you think it will be and who will be filling those shirts?

It may be early for Guidolin to make too many changes.
I'd go for team as Monday but with Barrow or Montero in for Routs to add some pace on break and stop their fullbacks coming forward.

Our season won't be defined by how we get on against Everton.

Would love a win or draw, but head says 2-0.

We now have a distinctly continental feel once more....3 new Italian coaches....

Let's see if they have had an affect in the short time they've been here.

Mr Lukaku going to be our nemesis again.

True our season will not be defined by today's result.

But a win would give us momentum and the confidence of two wins in a row. We would climb 2 places to 15th and have a 4 point gap between us and the bottom three, putting more pressure on the 5 below us. No today's result will not define our season but a win would have a massive impact.

Not a bad trip that. If you can park in Stanley Park it's only a 5-10 min walk. Nice old ground, a bit tatty for the PL but it's nice to sit on wooden seats again.

That is a good message, he is basically saying "show us what you can do", we did that in the first half in the last game and then went in to our shell for the second.
Perhaps he is saying go for it for the full 90, mark them but do not give them too much respect.
