Good performance from Rangers but we mustn't get too carried away. Plymouth were pretty dire and hardly threatened at all. This is partly down to how our 3rd or 4th or even 5th choice central defenders played, but also because Plymouth gave the ball away frequently and were unable to create anything in the final third.

Good to see Jimmy back at RB, mainly because Marti can't trust Ashby there and a good showing from Edwards. Replacing Frey with Kolli was crucial to the win. Frey didn't play badly although he did miss 2 presentable chances, but against the Plymouth defence sheer physicality wasn't needed. Kolli's movement and skill were more important.

Hard to rate the players or choose a MotM as they all played pretty well.

"We're off to a solid start, but let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. Plymouth were woefully inadequate, gifting us possession and failing to create quality chances. Credit must go to our makeshift defensive unit, but it's hard not to put the majority of the blame on the opponent's subpar performance. A more even test will reveal our true capabilities." https://minecraftapkdl.com
