He was already fuming about the injustice of the result then someone asked him the question about AT. I can't see how he was deflecting blame. He said he can't go on defending him. I was disappointed to see not see AT at least on the bench but I didn't see a lot wrong with the teams attitude yesterday and maybe that is a factor.

As someone just suggested,it was the first time in a while that 'arry showed any passion or enthusiasm.And the team responded with a good display.But was it the team playing better that encouraged to get involved more?If it was,it certainly shouldn't have done,because it should be the manager that inspired the players to play well,not the other way round. |  | | |

Arry has had it for Adel all his career going back to his Spurs days, Ac Milan got him playing ok, so did Warnock, even Sparkless Hughes got some performances out of him,

I am in the Adel fanboy camp. Have always been. That being said, a large part of this is on him. Redknapp is not the first coach to point at his lack of commitment to training. One data point does not make a trend, but four teams/managers with similar feedback shows an issue. He did not come away with a great attitude rating from Milan or Fulham. We saw the comments from Warnock. His abilities are unquestionable, his attitude is.
I want nothing more than to see him play for us. He provided some of my best QPR memories. He entertains, he frustrates - I enjoy the games more when he is out there.
But right now he is throwing all of that god given talent away. Which is an utter sin. Can you imagine if someone like Mackie had his talents?!
Who are his handlers? Someone needs to give him a kick in the a$$. Perhaps there is too much history between Redknapp and Adel, and that dynamic will just never work. On this topic, I back Redknapp's decision. We were all complaining about a lack of effort and commitment from the team. You cannot address that as a manager and then pander for someone like Adel at the same time. | | | |

We've got a lot of good players at this club now. We don't need to indulge AT anymore.
As much as I enjoy watching him play and rate him as a footballer. I'd rather watch 11 players giving their all, and outplaying quality opposition in the process, any day of the week. |  |

Maybe he's always been frustrated with Adels inconsistent, childish behaviour and is not prepared to forsake the rest of the team to indulge him. If, like you say, he's always had it in for him then at least Harry's stand is consistent. Warnock didn't feel any different, he just did what he had to do in order to win - which is fine when you're pushing for promotion, but not when you're battling to survive. As for Milan, Hughes etc - is that what were aiming for now - 'some performance'? In this league, at this juncture, we need 11 players willing to work themselves into the ground and fight for the team. Any way you slice it, that player isn't Adel.
I said it before - I loved Adel, I think we all wanted him to kick on and repeat THAT season, but he is a fvcking idiot, he does not help himself - so why should anyone else sacrifice their dignity just to help him?
He needs to man up, get stuck in and kick on, anything less that that and I don't want him here.

he has to feel wanted and indulged a little (not to much) IMHO Arry has never liked him from day dot, he could be as fit as a butchers dog but Arry wouldn't play him still

thing is if adel was a skinny bean pole he wouldn't be half the player he is / was he used his weight to get players out of the way and iknt easily knocked of the ball zidane wasn't exactly kate moss in stature he did ok

Christ we're going straight down if we're relying on Fer! Tries some of the same things as Tarbs but is a 'C' class footballer compared to him. I was slightly pleased with the signing at first, not overjoyed, but Fer has been a real let-down for me. Wasn't at the game where he cracked the crossbar (in a good way, unlike yeseterday  ) but apart from that he's been next to woeful for us. If we do suddenly stick with the 3-5-2 again I'd say a fit Krancjar has to be the creative player (seeing as Tarbs is out in the cold - his blubber will prepare him well for that!) with Henry anchoring the midfield. | |
