Good solid performance on a pitch that looked OK before kick off, but soon showed the effects of weeks of rain, cutting up and was a bit of a pudding in the middle of the park. Not good for a passing game. Great play by Hendo forcing a fingertip save from their keeper, only for Allen to be on hand to knock home. Sat back a little too much at times in second half-but 3 deserved points. Up The Dale [Post edited 22 Feb 2014 18:21]

Just reminded me of watching the Dale 25 years ago - no effort, no desire, no skill, out fought, out thought, with clueless managers - if we carry on like this our crowds will match - 1,300 home fans by the end of the season anyone? |

What was that all about right at the end when Jonesy took a swing at a shot and screwed it well, well wide - the ref put both hands on his head as if to say "Jeez lad, that was a crap shot, I'm embarrased for you" - biggest laugh of the night (or was that the open goal their lad missed in the first half?) |
