Playing 'Daydream Believer' before games

I don't like the playing of Daydream Believer over the PA before games. We know what the crowd is expected to sing when the DJ turns the volume down for the chorus.
Its negative stuff. It gives a bad example to youngsters who will copy their ignorant elders in spouting the inevitable expletives.
That and the relentless anti English chants makes us the most hateful club in the division. We make Stokies look like the nice guys.
Why can't we just support our team in a positive way rather than sing all this negative, hateful stuff?
