Is Boris Johnson a coward? 06:57 - Dec 6 with 46142 viewsBigDaveMyCock

Every other leader has been interviewed, but he refuses. It’s quite devastating stuff from Neil here.

10 million more people since 2010?????
The current UK population is 66 million
You have to go back to 1984 to find a time when it was only 56 million

The only place Boris is 'going' is down the fookin toilet, with all the rest of us
Absolute disaster this
Once the Tories reign of terror eventually comes to an end this country will be completely unrecognisable from where it was

You voted Conservative and I’m the sick tvvat? Have you been in a hospital lately? Please go and shadow someone on a ward or in A&E for a week and tell me what you think.
Similarly, walk the streets and count the homeless people. Visit a food bank from time to time.

Corbyn forgot about his core voters. He had an ideology of leftist socialism and he was kidded into believing that those were the sorts of policies that the country as a whole wanted by his Momentum followers.

At the end of the day, Brexit, whether you agree with it or not was a massive thing for a lot of Labour heartlands and by sitting on the fence trying to appease the uni voters he's alienated the very people who have voted for Labour their entire lives. A few marches and some posts on social media are not a mandate that the opinion has shifted from leaving the EU to remaining in the EU. His proposal of going to the EU with no deal off the table and getting a deal that everyone knows he wouldn't campaign for and his shadow cabinet wouldn't campaign for was pure fantasy.

There will have been people who were influenced by the media but to say that decided the election in which Labour gained less seats then they had done since before the second World War is pure delusion and is why Labour are where they are. They live in a bubble of unrealistic policies thinking that because there are marches and they have Momentum that everybody wants them, when it was obvious people didn't. The result of yesterday's vote should send a clear message to Labour that they need massive change and quickly if they want to get anywhere near forming a government. If Starmer gets elected as their leader then they are completely reliant on Brexit being a sh*t show over the next 5 years otherwise they'll be battered in the polls again in another 5 years.

It does need challenging, but in a way that matches the sophistication of the 21st century and it's technological battles, not by the failed recipes of yesteryear, and certainly not by an atttachment to the musings of a 19th century ideologue

Labour has neglected its core voters for decades, Corbyn’s policies would have helped them.

Been in hospital twice in last 2 years...
Stroke unit for 10 days then an outpatient for 8 months, in oldham hospital for 5 days in August for a ORIF ankle break. Tell you what both were the best service I've ever received espicially compared to service my sister got on the NHS under a labour government, but hey dont let facts get in the way of your crap.

The amount of homeless people, you mean the organise begging gangs on the streets especially in rochdale, who then use the money for drugs instead of trying to better themselves.

I'll say it again yes you are a sick tvvat for wishing old people dead, the scary part you dont even think it's wrong to say that.

Question my mother in law and my parents voted conservative, do you and Gin boy think they deserve to die or commit suicide cause they never voted for the same party as you 2 ?

Ugh, I don’t think you’ve ever made a post on here that hasn’t reinforced what a vile, disgusting person you are. Your comments about the homeless epidemic are terrible. Are the increasing number of people who use food banks all con-artists too?

I’ve made no secret that I work in the frontlines for the NHS so I feel quite confident about my ‘facts’ rather than your anecdotal evidence.

So there are no organise begging gangs operating then in rochdale.

Do you both have to be so personal and angry. You’ll be back in the stroke ward carrying on like this. And to be fair shun saying it’ll be ok when two or three generations of old people that have probably been through worse then us die was a shitty thing to say.

I go to Tesco once a week and there is always someone outside there, begging but at the same time smoking and using a mobile phone that I could only dream of owning.
People today do not know what real poverty is. They think it is when they have no money for food, after spending god knows how much on a flat screen tv or a games console. If you watch these programmes about alleged poverty you only have to look at the polished nails and tattooed eyebrows, fashionable clothing etc. to know that people growing up these days do not know the true meaning of poverty.
There are people who genuinely cannot make ends meet, but they are not the ones you see on the TV, because those people would be distraught should the the world know of their plight, not flaunting the fact they have their priorities wrong.

I don't think Shun has wished to accelerate a fact of life on anyone, just made an observation that older people who voted yesterday may not be around to vote next time.

I'll bet there were plenty of pig's heads got rogered in the home counties last night, though.

I know a lady who works in the police who does a lot with the beggars in and around the town centre. She says that the regulars all have accommodation provided by the council and are on higher level benefits (what ever that means). They have been or are in receipt of help and that many do not want to help themselves. Unfortunately many of them have substance abuse issues. There are also stories of people travelling up from London to beg in Manchester as they get more money!

No doubt there are some people who are genuinely homeless who would like help and a place to live. Many of these are ex service personnel. Population pressures do not help in this regard. Net immigration of over 250000 a year for 20 years coupled with longer life expectancy places a massive strain on housing.

The NHS is a another can of worms completely and something I could write pages of questions about. I would actually like to sit down with Shun and ask him lots of questions about the NHS as the solutions are far too complex and more than just throw more and more money at it.

Too often people on all sides of the political spectrum offer simple solutions to complex problems that will not work.

The interesting thing is why when the younger voters of today become the older voters of tomorrow do the voting intentions of each demographic rarely seem to change?

Can you point out the part of Shun's post where he said he wished anyone dead? That is why I rarely post on such threads when words are twisted to fit agendas. That accusation you made just beggars belief.

Speaking of beggars, these are the people Shun was referring to. I don't give a damn about politics or what your politics are but your post was so far out of order it really did make me wonder if you'd even read what Shun had written or just decided "ok, let's have a free pop".

Thank you judd and DaleiLama. Mightydale - read the post again, there’s a difference between wishing people dead and stating a fact that in 5 years a lot of older people will have died which could well affect the political leaning of the average population. Bizarre.

But tbf, don't older people tend to lean more anyway?

saw a similar subset data set that showed on average about every 10 years of life means that 8% more voters become Tory voters. The cut off point seems to be 47 years of age i.e below 47 more people vote labour and from 47 onwards more vote Tory. This is the national average & would obviously be different by geography
0

Is Boris Johnson a coward? on 17:36 - Dec 13 with 1573 viewsD_Alien

Saw that too, and one implication is that as people are on average living longer and the average number of children that people have gradually decreases, there will tend to be more Tory voters as time goes on!
