No board can operate in this sustainable revenue model that Gao has imposed. The club needs a massive injection of cash.
Gao is simply the worst owner in the league as instead of coming in and making sweeping reforms has rather sat back and watched our demise. The guy has no interest in Saints and should be driven out. | |

I see this is another defence of Goa but the reality is the buck stops somewhere, as it stands we don’t have a director of football, a head of recruitment, no assistant manager or first team coaches just a load of assistant coaches with no experience, a board of directors who don’t know how to run a football club, If I recall correctly our current chairman might be a nice bloke but I think his last job was running a marketing agency. We were told when reed left that he’d be replaced by a few people. Well he left a year ago and still not been replaced. So defend Goa all you like but the lack of leadership from the top down is pretty evident and there really isn’t anyone else to blame as there is no one else left | |

In the spring of this year Gao sold a controlling interest in his main Chinese company, Lander Sports, to the Chinese state.
Now he told the EPL that this didn't change the ownership of Saints because he owned Saints through a different HK company (with 'Lander' in its name).
But the Club has since sold its sponsorship rights to another company (LDSports) with a name very similar to Lander Sports.
Maybe we're all being very naive to think that Gao has any real control over what's going on. | |

One the one had the defence is he’s not been active and let others run the club, that’s why it’s not his fault. So is he active or not?
