Green has been one of our more consistent performers this season.
It was a horrible moment,but no way am i going to slate the guy for it. If we go down it wont be for that error.

Unforgivable. Should be second nature for a keeper to get the ball from hands to foot to halfway line. Can't get on the "Oh it's ok, it's only a mistake" bandwagon, it's a possible feckin season destroying howler. Personally dont feel that Greenos error today is the one that will define this season. If anything, the battling performance and making Chelsea look very ordinary, might just.

Agree generally about the Hull games, however penalties can be missed. Caulker's header straight to Jelavic is probably more defining as it's schoolboy stuff.
Similarly slicing a routine a goal kick under no pressure whatsoever when you're on the brink of a morale boosting point against the champions elect is a season defining moment.

I'm usually the first to defend keepers, having been one myself, but that was Sunday league today.
Saying that, the defending was poor but I think that was down to the tank being empty for most players.
How is Sandro still not able to play a whole match?

It's why QPR will always be that last pay day, that easy to play for club, that most accommodating of places
Fcuk me. I'm on the record of my views on Calamity Green and today just another to stick in his catalogue of errors. The man is a walking disaster zone and I cannot wait for him and his £50k a week salary to do one.
Only QPR could pay £2 million for a promising young keeper and leave him on the bench all season destroying his confidence, sharpness etc whilst Sir Flapalot gives us a base as solid as my movements after a weekend tearing it up
If you sang Greeno Greeno at the end then you're laudable for your loyalty but my personal opinion is you are mugs and typical of why we accept failure so readily at this club and in this country

I think Green has had a good season but when goalies make mistakes it's often fatal.
Did he cost us the point? Yes
Has he or todays result cost us the season? No
Promotions/relegations are over the course of a season not one game (inc play offs).

Well, he's always had a mistake in him. Just a shame it was then, against them, at that point int he game.
Overall I thought the game got to him today. Sadly only watching on TV as I;m away with work but three times in the first half Caulker and Onuoha were forced to deal with balls in behind that a better keeper would have been swiftly off his line and catching on the edge of the area. The only thing I'll add to this thread is it's possible to be critical of Green today but also appreciate his efforts this season.
It is possible to say, for example, "Fcuk me Robert Green has been immense for us at times this season but that was a soul-destroying, rack-worthy error today I could physically murder that affable fcuker".
