........Not the morons I saw on a train back from London on a sunday evening last autumn. The carriage was full of mothers with small children returning from seeing the Wiggles or something like that and unfortunately Chelsea had been playing a 3pm kick off that day . In the midst of what should have been a happy atmosphere a group of four middle aged half drunk dickheads (all in their John Terry shirts, nach) sat swearing loudly in a pointless dissection of the game, the ref the opposition, fans whatever. The best you could say about this pondlife was that they were totally oblivious to their surroundings. There was no point in remonstrating with them, it would have led to a confrontation and a brawl.
There is something particularly asinine about the kind of feckwit who chooses a successful team to support rather than support his local club. And where did these four silver tongued cavaliers get off? Eastleigh.

They are just totally embarrassing. Too much booze and charlie I imagine.
What's even more cringey is a bunch of blokes stood in a train carriage and they feel the need to chant things. They don't have the balls to just say something, but they seem to think if they stand in a little group and 'sing' stuff then they can say what they want.

When they are caught we should send them to France for them to deal with. 6 months in a French jail should do it. This won't happen but guaranteed next time we see them will be as the enter a UK court with a hoody up so no one can see them. Real tough guys.

Cowards. At least a dozen of them I would guess by the dumbass chanting, and that gave them the courage to have a pop at some guy who showed more balls them all of them put together.

Sky news asked a guest earlier how the players would react/feel about the footage.

I can't see John Terry being remotely arsed was my instant impression.

If John Terry wasn't on the pitch he'd have been on that training joining in.

Doesn't surprise me if I'm honest. Chelsea always appear to have more than their fair share of utter morons - a large proportion of which travel to away games. Whenever they come to St Marys, there's always an extra... 'something' in the air - a feeling of having to take extra caution if I'm with my lad for example. I don't get that with most other teams visiting St Marys. They're always a bunch of arrogant feckers too.

I guess that's what the Russian's mi££ions has turned them into. As someone said earlier ; Chelsea fans have no class, never had, never will. They are what Millwall would be like if they won the lottery!

In amongst the expected outrage is it just me that thinks there might be less to this than is being made out?

I'd imagine the dinlows on the train were probably full of beer and Charlie and it was a very busy train. The guy trying to get on was the only guy trying to get on at that station, now maybe he was pushed off because there was no room on the train? It didn't seem like there was. The fact he was black might be nothing to do with it. When the chanting starts it isn't by anyone involved in pushing him off the train, its not clear who is singing it.

I'm not condoning this by any means as on first viewing it looks bad but its easy to get whipped up in the hysteria. Apparently the police are investigating and Chelsea will ban anyone involved. It all seems a little bit over the top to me. The only bloke who clearly does anything is the big one who pushes the guy off the train, the police say they are looking for the people involved to me from that you can only see one person involved and can't really tell who was singing, so does this mean if you're on the footage you're bang in trouble, just for happening to be on that train? One thing is for sure, the old bill will be looking for convictions and they won't care who they stitch up to get them.

Well you basically have condoned it, magically coming up with several different explanations.

Chelsea Racism In Paris on 08:14 - Feb 19 with 1907 viewsDel_Bianco

But that's it though isn't it. There could be another explanation. It might not be the hysterical 'racist scum" reaction that there is. The guy who pushed him off the train isn't screaming 'we're racist' as he does it is he. Clearly he should have let him get on the train and was bullying the black lad which is out of order, but as I say he wasn't the one singing the racist song, it was other people who you can't see. Maybe it was because the train was busy then a few idiots thought it'd be funny to sing that who were further back up the train. You don't know that isn't the case do you.

So they are bullying the black lad which is out of order. But they're not racist, there's another explanation. He was just bullying him because the train was busy.

On the other hand, it's a great tune. can't we nick it for someone? I found myself singing it out loud yesterday without even realising it. That's probably what happened to these Chelsea fans.

Del is right though. If you aren't allowed to investigate the specifics of a situation, and just automatically judge anything involving any black person as racially motivated you just end up judging a situation based on your own preferred interpretation. I've no time for the kind of aggressive drunken morons in the clip, as per my earlier post, and I would happily ban them for their demonstrably confrontational behaviour, but as Del says if there is proof of racially motivated intent then the evidence will show it. In the meantime don't just leap to conclusions.

Chelsea Racism In Paris on 08:54 - Feb 19 with 1875 viewsHeisenberg

So a load of white blokes refuse to let a black bloke on a train. They physically stop him from getting on the train. Then they sing a song saying they are racist and that's the way they like it. And you don't think this is a racially motivated crime. Do you work for the Met ?

I'm presuming the "big one" is an octopus as I can see more than one pair of arms pushing the poor fella off the train.

It's a John Terry song, the carriage was full, beered up, he was a PSG fan, banter, he was being aggressive, etc etc etc, all pis5 poor excuses.

Chelsea Racism In Paris on 12:02 - Feb 19 with 1784 viewsGasGiant

"So a load of white blokes refuse to let a black bloke on a train. They physically stop him from getting on the train" .....and you are therefore concluding that any crime anywhere involving different ethnicities will always and automatically be racially motivated? Thats's the point Del is making - he isn't defending the morons on the train and he isn't saying that it isn't racially motivated, and neither am I. I would be glad if all the ones involved are caught and forced to serve time in France. and if the evidence of racial motivation is confirmed then double the sentences. Why do we all feel this need to keep parading our anti racist credentials all the time FFS? I don't want or need a fecking medal.

Chelsea Racism In Paris on 12:18 - Feb 19 with 1778 viewsHeisenberg

What additional evidence do you need. They sang a song saying they were racist whilst targeting a black man. Do you want them in pointy hats with white shrouds on just to be sure it was a racially motivated crime ?. As far as the penalties go the French will hammer them. And one of them has already been identified as working in the city. Hope he loses his job and spends a couple of years languishing in a French jail. He will be crying for his mummy after one day. It's the only way to deal with these scum.

exactly that. It might have been racially motived, but people are being told to think that it was, not actually looking into it more deeply.

If the bloke that pushes him off the train and had been screaming in his face "we're racist" etc then there would be no doubt about it. He wasn't doing that, it wasn't clear who was singing the songs.

I see Um Pahars has piped up saying i'm making excuses for them. I'm not, they bullied a bloke on his own which is out of order, but we're being told to hyseterically scream "Racists" When the reality is it might actually not be the case.
