| Forum Thread | Will QPR accept the Adrian Edmondson challenge? at 09:16 27 Oct 2014
The race to Bottom took another turn when Burnley suffered their 3rd 3-1 home defeat. This jeopardises the Rs tenure as the Premiership whipping boys as a 0-0 against the divisions lowest scorers would be a setback in their quest for this unique and uncovetted Adrian Edmondson Award. Yesterday at Turf Moor Burnley repeatedly refused to compete in the Tikka Takka preliminaries. This complex, posession based style of play is a well known system for breaking down defensive organisation. Usually this is alternated with mobile set piece wrestling. Again this was another heat in which Burnley failed to make any impact, a clear signal that Burnley are seriously looking at the Adrian Edmondson Challenge for Bottom. However QPR will not miss out too much, 'Appy 'Arrys laughing stock still remains off the scale. |
