Huddersfield match fred on 09:06 - Feb 4 by johnhoop | I certainly don’t disagree with you but it rather begs the question that if we can’t beat Huddersfield, who in this League CAN we possibly expect to get three points against? |
My thoughts exactly. A draw would feel like a win today.

Huddersfield match fred on 10:43 - Feb 3 by James_Paddocks | I think we're at the stage now where a win is the only acceptable outcome. A point at Huddersfield is not a decent result. They're sh!te. 0-2 Rangers. |
That may be true, but they still won at Loftus Road in November and we often lose up there. So a 2-0 defeat gauranteed.
Huddersfield match fred on 12:42 - Feb 4 with 3197 views | Boston | A bit parky around these parts today, reminiscent of the north of England methinks. Think our bunch of southern softies will struggle...1-1.

A draw would definitely be an improvement on last weekend but I'm hoping for a win. The transfer window closing may make some realise that they're here for the foreseeable and put in more of a shift. I think NC will have hopefully been preparing the team without dykes and maybe mean a change in attacking style that may catch Huddersfield cold. Or perhaps I'm a hopeless optimist.

Huddersfield match fred on 13:46 - Feb 4 with 3015 views | gazza1 | Tough to call but I am going for a win, if we turn up for 90 minutes. As for the team, likewise a tough call but NC cant keep playing the same players.....Dickie's place in danger if Paal is fit so that Clark -Salter can play CB instead of Paal's cover. I expect to see the Captain playing again. Not sure Willock has done enough to get his place in the Team back. However, if we go 3 x CB's (if Paal is fit) there will be several changes. Dieng, Laird, C-S, Dunne (& Dickie if 3), Paal, Field, SJ, Chair, Tim, Richards or Roberts, Lowe.

Amos on bench, Roberts out, presumably injured. Do you reckon they tag as they pass each other?

Huddersfield match fred on 23:03 - Feb 3 by ted_hendrix | It's been so long since I've been to Huddersfield's ground, we actually won that night and the Man mountain that was Alan McDonald scored the winner with a header In the dying seconds, right in front of us, oh deep joy twas a long time ago, what I wouldn't give to see and hear Alan McDonald's Man mountain frame again throwing a few f ucks into these peroxide laden useless tarts we've got playing for us now. Shape up or f uck off. Having said that I can't see further than a 2-0 or 3-1 defeat. |
Apologies Ted, my fat thumbs again, I'm going to stop voting

Well you know what they say the hope does... Great to see Tim dropped; soul destroying that we HAVE to play Paal. He was as bad as Tim last week and joined the phantom injury list and has been generally poor since Beale left. Jojo - is he a myth or will his leadership on the pitch buck this lot up? .Richards is a mystery unless it's something to do with him losing a mate recently, but if that is true, can't the bloody club communicate that? Balogun - we pay Beale's mate a wage, specialists say there is nothing wrong and yet he is nowhere near our match squad and is not even mentioned in the managers pre-game conference. Broken club at so many levels. 3-0 them; will be a little better than last week for 10 minutes then abject depression for the rest of the weekend. Gotta "love" this club...

I have a strong suspicion they're the same person conning us out of 2 pay cheques. The training sessions must be like the restaurant scene from Mrs Doubtfire.

Why’s it soul destroying that we have to start Paal? He was poor last weekend and hasn’t been great recently but the same applies to the whole team. Paal was a player of the season candidate up until recently. Personally I think he’s one player who deserves to be given the benefit of the doubt. I get the frustration after performances like last weekend but imo we’re too quick to find scapegoats and write players off. It’s counterproductive.
Huddersfield match fred on 14:41 - Feb 4 with 2209 views | queensparker | Decent looking team apart from Dozzell. I’ll give him today to turn me round but I find him the most frustrating player ever to watch. Anonymous and feeble Come on Rangers cheer us up

It is soul destroying because there is ZERO competition for him when he declares himself fit. That was the case before the window, but it is WRONG. JCS can fill in there because (when he can be arsed to be fit) he is a good footballer. A left back, however, he is not. I am not scapegoating Paal; I think that he will be a good player for us, BUT every now and then everyone needs to be taken out of the firing line when things are not going right and the fact that our right and left backs HAVE to play when they are fit is a massive indictment of our clubs footballing policy. ...and Paal was nowhere near "player of the season" even when we were top in October. He's had a few good games, but that is all - a few. If the team starts collectively bucking up, I'd expect to see more from him - he fits in well at the moment because clearly he can do far, far better than he currently is...
