Good win but...some of those Swindon players looked useful. No Pig bag There seemed to be an element of 70's crowd banter at times. Fah gawds name, stop the kids sliding towards the corner flags after scoring, they'll do their knees in. Apologies if posted already.
...I'm not delusional but, I have this feeling(strong), that we will easily finish in the top half of the table. That of course, depends on our future injuries, otherwise, the only way is up.
Mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I was going to see him and someone wondered if he'd go over in Boston - well he did fine. He's not my fav, little too middle-class, but sharp as a knife and can certainly hold an audience, which by the way, was in the Shubert, capacity 1600 with a fairly equal three way split of expats, Bostonians and those from other parts, I know as he had a little vocal survey at the start of the show. Couple of things, met a mate who I hadn't seen for ten years and, the bloke sitting in the seat behind me turned out to be Wyc Grousbeck, owner of the Boston Celtic's, who McIntyre had met at a game the night before apparently, called him up on the stage at the end and unveiled the Larry O'Brien Trophy, whereupon he and the comic led a rousing few minutes chorus of 'Let's Go Celtic's'.
I'm very pally with a number of 'artists', which leaves me in a bit of a dilemma when they ask me what I think of their work as I'm more of yer Dutch Masters type of bloke and they all seem to like throwing stuff at a canvas. Now, one of my mates has had a tough time recently, but he's such a decent chap I'm thinking of buying this 'masterpiece', though I'm sorta lost for words that won't piss him off. Is this a rodent, Ents going for a walk or Storm Bert, wadyafink?
