Off to granddaughter's 2nd birthday party soon, so getting in early.

3-0 to us Wallace scores first and Mrs Pinner to moan every time I check the score at the party!

In other news, taken me all game but finally figured out Grant McCann looks like the latter day tubby Jesse Plemons from Breaking Bad. Hull Camino.

Technically an OG.

Meanwhile a (perhaps unluckly) red card from Moncur,, who departs with friendly slaps on the back from at least three Rangers players, and a big grin from Dickie. How often do you see that?

It’s not “technically an OG.” It’s a shot on target which is deflected along the way. It’ll be Dykes’ goal.

Not that I mind, but wtf was Dickie doing in the CF position there?

Three goals in three. He’s out No. 9

Those Hull fans looking quiet as mice and their manager on the touchline like he doesn't know what day it is!

Am. Seriously. Loving. This.

Feel like Dom Ball has a sixth sense for when negative opinion of him reaches critical mass and then immediately pulls a very decent performance out of nowhere.

Wish I was able to see this, thanks for the updates all. Glad Dykes has got on the scoresheet after seeing loads of people slag him off lately.

Arguable both ways (would it have gone in without the deflection?), but who's bothered? He's not had a great game, but Dykes can claim it every day of the week.

OK, sounds like a job for my negative alter ego to slag him off every week.

Rubbish player, over-rated, what does he have to do to get dropped?

With Ingram in goal it’s safe to say it was going in.

It's not arguable, the rule is that an on-target shot that goes in is a goal for the player who shoots, regardless of a deflection.

Come on Huddersfield, get a late consolation goal and put us top on GD, just for the fun of it

It is not arguable either way. What I posted is how all goals are assessed by the “dubious goals” panel. It is Dykes’ goal. They even bother referring it because it was so obviously on target before the deflection.

I agree he’s not had a great game. But let’s not go down the “facts are debatable” rabbit hole.

On another note, Wallace has had an excellent second half.

I think Wallace has been pretty anonymous in the two previous games, having looked fantastic v Man U and Leicester. Hope this is him getting back on to form (though think it might have something to do with the shape of the rest of the team.)

2nd behind Fulham, 2 games played and not a maximum points amongst us, you’ve got to love this league.

For Hull’s sake, I truly hope they find someone better than Ingram.

Cracking performance.

Three goals, clean sheet, some lovely play in all areas of the pitch.

C'mon my Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeam!

Been thinking exactly the same thing - a deadringer for Fat Damon!

So that's 3 of them all looking like versions of themselves - mindbending stuff.

Watching the Cambridge United pre-season game on YouTube, in the comments there was some sad f*cker from Hull bothering to watch Cambridge U v QPR purely to go on about how Hull were going to batter us( plus a spot of dog-whistle racism at a fan from India).

This is specially for him.
