We miss Lavia.

Shocking result and defence was nowhere when needed.

Pickford pulled off some saves but really... Very poor finishing.

Lucky Elyounoussi came on to save the day. Adams was top notch today and Ward 'The Pretender' Prowse was as sh*te as ever.

Don’t know where we go from here, abysmal would be giving Saints to much credit to be honest.JWP once again awful
The only thing he is really good at is passing backwards.Hard to give many more than 5 ⭐️ today and we are in a world of hurt with the games coming up.Is it about time for RH to go it has to be taken in to account as it is not getting any better under his leadership.Sad thing is the team has real potential but under this manager it is not working.COYR.

We are in trouble. Everton, Villa and Wolves are not top sides by anyone's imagination but we have lost to all three when they didn't even play that well. The truth is that if our opponents defend competently we are done for. The defence is still not solid. Three worse teams than us? Hopefully but I can't name them at the moment and basically, I finish as I started, we are in trouble.

A lot of changes to the team, but not frankly an improvement in the standard of play. Wonder where has gone the form and character were showed against Chelsea, Leicester and Leeds? It was disappointing to see a fall off in the quality of our defending. We will be in trouble (as others have remarked) if that continues because we ain’t going to score a lot if goals as things stand …

Really needed that striker in the summer.

A lot of changes was always a gamble. Mara didn't really show anything. AMN was a bit wasteful and Larios looked his age at times. DCC looked good although if he was brought in to organise, shipping 2 goals in as many minutes is a poor start.

Not in trouble yet but if the performances don't pick up we'll be in a relegation scrap soon.

Really poor first half. Little creativity. Improved second half but 22 shots and only 6 on target highlights our lack of threat. Caught cold for both goals. Both far too easy for Everton to score. Lost concentration at the back. Calets-Car looked like another Jack Stephens. I'm so tired of traveling over 5 hours there and back for performances like this. It's so dispiriting. Not sure where we go from here.

A nothing game really where neither side excelled. Not sure anyone would have moaned too much with the line up but we didn't really get going. Adams & Aribo were on their game but not too many others were. A couple of lapses at the back, for us, was all that separated two very average teams. Not much else to say, we still need to be more positive in our passing as too many again today were poor!

So I have a question for the group - RH sets us up for being compact in a 4-2-2-2 and Everton get only one decent chance in the 1st half. In the 2nd, we score and we are happy. Then BECAUSE of the PLAYERS and their lack of concentration on both goals, we go down. So everyone bemoans RH, but where is the blame to the players on the pitch. This loss was all on them. Everyone KNOWS that the first 5 minutes after you score, you need to be solid and concentrate. But our bunch lost their heads. The whole lot are supposed to be professionals and yet people are blaming RH. Sorry but this one is not on him. The team needs to shoulder this loss completely. And the one area WE ALL AGREED on was that we needed another proven striker, we did not get. While AA hustles and created some good chances, he had two chances to score and should have buried one of them. He is not a Prem league striker. I am so disappointed and frustrated like everyone else, but where is the fire from the players? Why does it take us being behind to get boot in their butt? I could go on and on, but it will do no good since I dont own the team and we dont have a say, so I will just keep supporting the team and yell at my tv hoping someone on the other end hears. UGH being a Saints fan is ...............................

Once again a match where there was only going to be one winner.
Failure to bring in a top striker three years ago should have brought the downfall of this naive manager who has no plan A let alone B.
Same story, a lot of huffing and puffing with no end product.
Pickford took the Micky out of us all afternoon.
Wrong players in wrong positions game after game.
Nightmare for our forwards as we rarely play the ball into them as every move is predictable with the obligatory ball must be played wide in every attack. Football by numbers.

This squad needs a few more games to evolve. It has huge potential, especially when our injured pair returns so please do not be despondent. There was nothing that RH did wrong against Everton, the players let themselves down by conceding two goals and soon those shots are going to be hitting the back of the net. Six new players in the team, not before time, but they cannot be expected to play as an experienced team. They were rubbish in the first half but showed plenty of character and spirit in the second half.
