As I said in the story on Curran, he's a 22 year old lad with over 150 appearances at League One level to his name, and that in itself shows that there is talent there. Perhaps the drop down to League 2 will allow his confidence to thrive and he can add goals to his game. |  | | |

As for the keeper, at the beginning of pre-season, I named 4 keepers that I would want us to look at, 2 of them have now signed for us in the form of Josh Lillis and Ben Smith while the other was reported to have rejected us, Iain Turner, so I'm chuffed to bits we've not just got one good keeper, but two!

I liked the look of Curran against burnley, looked a busy lil player who could get under the skins of defenders, sort of like a Chris Dagnall type, pleased with the attacking re-enforcements this week, complement each other well. |  |

I reckon you're probably right there . My first reaction was a bit of disappointment given his lack of physical presence and goals . However he has played almost exclusively at Div 1 level , is still relatively young , and probably compares similarly with Chris Dagnall it terms of goals at the higher level . | | | |

No, it just annoys me that people reckon to have this superior knowledge of players when it is blatantly obvious it is gained from hours in front of their computer, and to top it all they then seek credit for such knowledge. It shouldn't annoy me I realise that, but the amount of names that are banded about on here that people can only have any inkling of their greatness from something other than watching them in the flesh themselves! | |

Isn't that abit presumptuous from yourself, how do you know "person A" hasnt spent time watching "player B" and ONLY knows of the player because of whatever game?
I personally play quite alot of footy manager and have never come across Ben Smith or Craig Curran. However I will now go and look at there stats and form my opinion. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]
