Great report - especially the masterly reference to the thirsty goalie. Worth the wait.

I had to miss the game due to a family thing, so thanks for conveying some of the magic.

Following QPR is great moments like this winner . Jimmy has provided two now.
Great report.

Enjoyed that Saffa. Last minute sickener delivered with aplomb, property damage, partial nudity - this had the lot.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Thanks Saffa, that took me right back to the lower loft. Pandemonium :-)

I missed Varane mucking about with the keeper's water. That was something Andy Johnson used to do. Always hilarious to see the keeper looking high and low for his bottle ten minutes later.

Think it was Sam Field who threw one of the bottles in the crowd, was very funny when the keeper was then trying to find it and bloke in the crowd was waving it at him

Thanks Saffa. Impressive appearance from the subs bench.

Your report captured the excitement of the match and the sheer pleasure of being there as an R's fan. I loved the line, 'Woodman is helpless and dying of thirst as the giant Irishman makes no mistake'. Brilliant!

Why does a keeper need hydration on hand during the game anyway? It's not like they're using up loads of energy like outfield players do and might benefit from a quick sugar boost other than maybe at half time. It's nonsense.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Loved the deception of Jimmy's Pacman celebration

Edit - description not deception!

Top Drawer that Saffa - A report the "maestro" would be proud of.

Brilliant game with the Loftus Road crowd in full voice capped by a brilliant Jimmy Dunne diving header at the far post in the 89th Minute under the lights in front of a packed Loft - We don't get many....but bloody hell days like that are to be cherished.

Incredible to see us now up to 14th in the league table.

A Varane, Field, Morgan midfield playing like that will give most teams a big test in the Championship.

Big shout out to our Paul Smyth too - He was a menace to PNE all afternoon.

Great write up! I really like how Kolli takes his chances, he “made no mistake”, something I’m coming to trust from him

Yeah. He's very good at getting in the right position at the right time, shooting wise. This is something we've lacked for an eternity — it seems.

If you're doing the job properly you're shouting about 80% of the time, which can be thirsty work.

Surprised you haven't invoked the same 'winner stays on' rule that applies to each match day thread.

Tuesday morning when I'm reading this and that feeling still hasn't faded. Thanks for a truly great report which really helped with the visualisation of the ninety.

Are you the younger pretender to the throne?

Merry Christmas to you and Clive, wherever he may be.
